Being thrown through a gate into another dimension sucked. It sucked the last time it happened and it sucked this time. Especially when she couldn't tell if this was just another area in the Mystlands or somewhere else all together. All she knew what that it was cold. Not blizzard levels, but between the rain and the wind that felt like it wanted to strip her skin right off her bones, she wasn't sure it was better.
The low-ceiling cave she found herself in kept most of the storm out, and she could tell that it had been used for this purpose before. Scorch marks and ashes on the ground inside of a circle of stones, dried sticks shoved into a corner. It looks old but hopefully still flammable.
Then she hears something else out in the storm. She gets closer to the entrance but doesn't stick her head out. Lightning flashed and the world went white. She brought her arm up and squinted her eyes, looking into the torrents of rain. It was hard to see...maybe someone else had been thrown through the gate too?

"Hey, someone out there?"
