Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.

Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.

A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!

So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!

Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Cold Pond Cave (no Lan Yi)

They called it the Cold Springs for a reason, Wei Wuxian learned, because it was cold. What was even colder than the pond was apparently the damn cave located beneath it—inside it? He’s not entirely sure how they ended up here, just that they couldn’t get out. Lan Wangji even tried to touch the wall, pad around it, and seemed confused that it didn’t let him out. The wall. Whatever Lan Wangji planned to do with the wall confused him. He was still continuing to ignore Wei Wuxian, no word answers and just side glares. This was fine.

It was fine.

An hour later he didn’t feel like it was fine anymore. He stopped shaking, which was definitely not a good thing because he knew he was cold, and he couldn’t feel his feet anymore. He’d sat down with the bunnies, hoping they’d keep him warm, but he was starting to think they were just hallucinations. They never came close, didn’t seem cold, and if he tried to focus on them for too long he thought their foreheads were glowing. Bunny foreheads did not glow.

Swallowing he turned his gaze to where Lan Wangji was meditating and swore that the man was starting to shiver now. Cold then? So even Lan Wangji could get cold and was just pretending that he didn’t, perhaps hoping if he meditated enough he would forget that he was cold. Huffing out a breath, trying to warm his knees, he pulled his body as tightly together as he could and rested his head on top of his knees. He wasn’t cold anymore, he was freezing to death.

“L-La-Lan Z-han?” It took too much effort to get the name out, the words catching in his throat as he choked on them. Swallowing uselessly he sucked in a breath and raised his gaze to Lan Wangji. Dry lips were licked and he tried to speak again. “I’m s-so c-o-old.” Were they actually going to die in here?

The heater is on, he's got a fire going in the fireplace in back, and a tartan blanket to cover his legs as he sits on the sofa, perusing his latest rare book purchase, cup of cocoa at his elbow.

But it is apparently not warm enough for certain serpentine demons - or one, in particular, the only one who might feel the need to snuggle up to an angel to keep warm. ]

Which makes being the lord of half the north a little inconvenient in the winter.

Not only are the days short and the winds chilly, but when it snows, it snows. Even the weather in Oshuu likes to go all-out. What was supposed to be a relaxing day out with the falcons is cut tragically short by the sudden onset of a blizzard, and the snow piles up so quickly that Masamune can't even complete the journey home.

He probably should have listened to Kojuro's suggestion to stay home. But in Masamune's defense, "it's likely to snow today" doesn't usually mean a whole snowstorm! Kojuro, you bastard!!

At least there are farms and villages scattered along the route home. Masamune has made a point of not being That Guy who abuses his power and takes advantage of the people as he pleases, but in a case like this, he's sure any would-be host could spare him a warm corner and some tea.

Fortunately, the first little hut he comes across doesn't look like it's been lived in for a while. Hardly unusual in these wartorn times, when life can be upheaved at any given moment. Hopefully it was only abandoned instead of housing a rotting corpse this whole time.

The door isn't frozen shut like he feared, but he does have to wiggle it to slide it open.

The sight that greets him may not be a corpse but Masamune's heart jumps like he's seen a ghost.

He stares at Mitsunari in absolute bewilderment. Still standing in the doorway.

Well... this is awkward. ]

"Hm. Take good care of me?" Aunan joked as the two of them surveyed the situation. Specifically, the blanket-and-bed situation. Trying to preemptively cut some tension here.
