[ Whether it was an astronomically small coincidence, a whim of fate, or the sadistic impulse of a higher being... She was stuck with this arrogant man. Playing a game she had no idea how to play -- at least, not effectively. This game was apparently a lot like chess in that it was simple to learn, but extremely difficult to master.

That doesn't stop Adela from stubbornly trying to win, naturally. But it does feel frustrating to not feel like she's making any progress. Is she really so predictable? Or is Nobunaga just so good at the damn game that there's no point to trying?

No, no one's unbeatable. She has to believe that.

She definitely has to believe that. Even if it seems just so damn impossible.

So there's a tiny red head staring a hole through the Go board before her as she tries to think of what her next move should be, one hand gripped in her bangs while the other is playing with one of the stones in her bowl. Just what recourse did she have this game, though? Once again, she was getting crushed. ]
