you wake up in the morning, and something has changed: Maybe you're a super villain, a super hero, a magician, a knight, a space explorer - but today, when you pad down the stairs (still half-asleep, still unfocused), you do not walk into your secret lair, your spaceship, your headquarters. You're now just an average Joe, and you're standing barefoot on a worn wooden floor, smelling fresh coffee. To boot, there's someone else in this kitchen, leaning on the counter, wearing pajama bottoms and an old t-shirt. The setting might be new, but hell, you know exactly who they are... so... why is your worst enemy/co-commander/partner/captain/etc currently pouring you a second cup of coffee and asking you for pointers on the crossword? WHAT EVEN? Leave any prefs, or set the scene, just don't leave your tl blank! Or it will be deleted.

[ BOB was usually the one making breakfast and running the coffee pot in the mornings, especially after a long night of drinking. This morning, though? She doesn't feel that impending headache and nausea washing over her from a hangover. She's surprisingly well-rested and comfortable. No falling asleep at her desk back at the hideout, she supposes. Hell, maybe she just... slept so hard, she completely forgot what she'd been doing the night before.

That's... logical, right? Sure.

Coffee still sounds good, though. With a groan, she drags herself up out of bed, rubbing her eyes and then stretching a bit as she pads down to the kitchen.

She isn't. Really. Expecting. To see anyone other than BOB. It's enough to pull her awake a little more. ]
