You've left, yes, and you've been taken, of course, but you weren't strong-armed into it. You went with this person, this suspect, of your own free will. Because you love them, because you can't be together otherwise, because they offer a better opportunity regardless of your feelings towards them, because you want to escape someone else you know for certain you can't love, or just because you can. Those people who believe you've been snatched away, they don't get it. They don't know you were given a choice...you took it. Character, info, role, prefs, what have you. Thread with others. (( Her canon kind of runs on this; a lot of their public entertainment 'war games' are themed around rescuing or capturing a person. Which it would be terribly rude to do without clearing everything first. So while I'm fine with a more traditional fake-kidnapping-elopement kind of deal, highly public play-acting for whatever reason is also very in-theme for her. Definitely leaning kidnapper but pitch me anything.

I like playing her as futa for smut so if you want a thread to go there let me know your stance on that. ))

[ooc: So I saw your OC has Arabic ancestry and since Bennet is a French knight from the days of the Crusades, that prompted this quasi-historical prompt idea. Please lmk if anything needs changing.]


For as far back as he can remember, Bennet has felt a hidden power buried deep inside of himself, but he never imagined it would awaken in the midst of violent battle with another like him. Nor did he imagine that when he finally got his boyhood wish of meeting someone who could be called kindred to him that the two of them would very nearly kill each other.

Consciousness returns to him slowly, interspersed with vivid flashes of his last battle -- a towering Saracen that no one could stop, himself charging forward while everyone else was running away, seeing his death come at him in one meaty fist and then staring astounded as it stopped in front of him, pushed back by an invisible force in the air -- and all overlaid with a throbbing pain in his head, as if it had been split open with an axe which is still buried there. The sick ache is both in his head and his stomach and he's having trouble discerning the difference between them.

He tries to sit up and immediately feels his head swim with pain. Slumping back to the ground with a groan, he dimly feels an imposing presence somewhere close by and stills.

"It's you, isn't it?" Opening his eyes requires more effort than he can currently manage, but somehow Bennet knows it's the Saracen there with him.
