THE AFTERCARE MEME


Sexual play can be intense. It can be emotional - it can be exhausting. It's essential to take time after to reaffirm, cuddle and comfort, apply any first aid, and relax.

PROMPTS:
1: ROUTINE. This is how you always do it; maybe it's complicated, maybe it's simple, but it has the comfort of ritual.
2: BROKEN. You're proud, you're confident, you're cocky, but this has cracked through the shell and left you open and needing.
3: SUB DROP. Withdrawal from the endorphins leaves you exhausted and unhappy. Someone needs to help with that.
4: DOM DROP. Dominating has really taken it out of you - maybe it's the submissive's turn to give some comfort.
5: SAFEWORD. You got interrupted in the middle: everything became too much, and someone used the safeword. Time to talk it out.
6: NONE. Your lover is cruel, and doesn't give you the aftercare you need.
7: WITH SOMEONE ELSE. You seek your comfort and your affirmation from someone besides your lover.
8: FIRST TIME. You've never done this before. The experience, the sensations - it's all new, and it leaves you all the more disoriented.
9: SECOND ROUND. Time for another go?
10: WILD CARD. For everything else!

[hey, so I know your preference is f/f and I totally understand if this is no good for whatever reason.

Am wondering about a scene with Steve, after WandaVision, with something to deal with the end of Endgame too. She's strong as hell and doesn't need to be leaning on a big strong man (I kinda hate that trope with het ships), but otoh she's Wanda, his friend, someone he loves, and they've helped each other in multiple ways over the years.

So he finds her (or she finds him) and they talk, and hold each other, because he's not doing fine, he's grieving Tony and Nat and Vision too. But her pain is a lot more immediate and so he suggests something to her.

This could be fairly mutually sexual (e.g. penetration), or it could be not at all sexual (e.g. he takes care of her, makes every single decision for the night such as what she'll wear, how long she showers, what to use in the shower, what she'll eat, but no sex), or it could be sexual but very one sided (e.g. he holds her and praises her while she gets herself off, but doesn't touch her sexually himself).

Also, I'm not against giving very small amounts of pain in a very consensual way if she'd like that. But only small amounts, and VERY consensual.

She would be expected to speak up at any point if she wasn't doing okay with whatever they'd decided (or whatever we decide for them) and wouldn't be punished for it.

This thread could start in the middle of something like that, or towards the beginning, or towards the end.

Then aftercare, when he holds her, and she cries if she needs to, and they talk about what she's been going through and they talk about other stuff too. A way to catch up and care about each other.

I'm not against shipping them properly, but I generally see anything sexual/romantic between them being like this. Where they're always important to each other (I'm still pissed at Steve for leaving at the end of Endgame - leaving her, Bucky, Sam, Pepper, everyone else) but don't ever have a monogamous sexual/romantic relationship.
