ＷＨＥＲＥ
Ⅰ the LIP bite. Sometimes kissing isn't enough, or sometimes you're too nervous to even talk. Bite a lip. It doesn't even have to be yours.

Ⅱ the THROAT bite. You don't want to suck their blood, but you want them to know how thin this flesh is here.

Ⅲ the ARM bite. It's silly, but want to let them know how they're of you. Bites on the arm are usually childish and done in anger or playfulness.

Ⅳ the LEG bite. Know what long legs need? A nice set of teeth sunk into them. Just look at those thighs. Or you could always bring new meaning to the term "ankle biter".

Ⅴ the COLLAR bite. This one's for all you people who don't like turtlenecks. Bites leave marks, and well, some people don't want to show theirs off like trophies.

Ⅵ the HIP bite. Know what's hot? Teeth on your hip. Marks there are definitely enough to make anyone weak in the knees. If that's not what you're into, just remember there are more reasons than just sex to bite someone, especially here.


ＨＯＷ
Ⅰ the GENTLE bite. No one said biting had to be hard. This one's meant more for lovers. Little nibbles on the earlobe or pulse are always nice.

Ⅱ the BRUISING bite. Don't break the skin on this one. You want to leave a nice impression of your pearly whites on the other person, enough so afterwards you can enjoy that darkened mark.

Ⅲ the BLOODY bite. Biting has ill repercussions. Whether it's on purpose or an accident, there's blood, and possibly lots of it.

Ⅳ the HARD bite. This one doesn't bruise, but it does leave a nice impression of your teeth. All that orthodontic work really paid off.

Ⅴ the TEASING bite. No, no, no. Don't just sink your teeth in all at once! Ease your partner into it. Bite softly again and again before letting yourself clamp. You want to let them know you might not do it.

Ⅵ the PINCHING bite. All front teeth. Don't let anything further than your canines feel your partner's flesh. This one's just to let them know they irritated you, or it could just be that your mouth slipped. Sorry!

"OW!" She glared over at him, rubbing her arm through her shirt. The sting had her moving to try to punch him in the shoulder. Hard. "What the hell was that for? You forget to have your Kibbles N' Bits today or something?"

[Jackson Whittemore was an asshole. This was common knowledge. Anyone expecting that to change after everything that had happened was simply fooling themselves. There was a comfortable familiarity to the arrogance and smugness that had been so much of who he was.

It was like the kanima had displaced him, pulled him out of himself and molded him into something different. A tool, a weapon, a monster. He didn't remember much but the one thing he did recall was an overwhelming sense of contentment. The Jackson parts of him had been terrified but once those pieces were removed, silenced by the monster within, the kanima knew only peace. It was a kind of peace that he longed to find again. Especially now that his only known respites from the world around him was rendered utterly useless.

If he couldn't drink himself into peaceful oblivion (or even just a few hours of sleep without memories that woke him up screaming) and he couldn't exhaust himself with sex... what was he supposed to do? Which is what led him to Derek time and again, reeking of fear and ineffectual alcohol. At first he'd begged him to take it back, even more fervently than he'd begged for it in the first place.

Eventually he'd begged for Derek to help him learn to control it because it was exhausting flinching away from every touch, refusing to let himself even hold Lydia's hand because god knew what he might do to her. He had enough blood on his hands. So he distanced himself, thanked the world for small favors because at least it was the off season now, and refused to let himself touch anyone.

Except Derek. Derek was his alpha. Derek could defend himself. Derek had killed him and that meant more to him than he knew how to say. Which was how he'd ended up here, his teeth parted, resting lightly on the skin of the older man's arm. It was supposed to be about control but it was all so backwards. While everyone else had to learn to push it back, even Isaac who was little more than a kicked puppy, Jackson had to learn to call it up. But even with the other man intentionally in a vulnerable position (which should have triggered the wolf's predatory side) he couldn't do it. Not even a little bit. He swallowed hard, almost convulsively, the memory of blood on his tongue a distant, hazy thing that he didn't even know if it was real but it had him jerking away, putting distance between them again, fighting down the urge to be sick.]

How many damn times do I have to tell you this isn't going to work?! [But the anger is muted, the acusation carefully worded so that he never has to say "I can't."]

There was something so utterly normal about the time TJ spent with Steve. It was comfortable, almost domestic, not something he'd expect in such a bustling city as New York. Certainly not something he ever found in Washington. Still, whenever he caught a glimpse of Steve sitting in bed with a book in hand, some mischievous part of him wanted to distract him from his reading. Usually, the idea was fleeting, gone as soon as it formed, but this time something else helped it to take root: the delicious temptation of Steve's calf bared where his pyjama pants rode up to his knee.

TJ wandered casually in, nothing out of the ordinary. He was just as happy to sit quietly with Steve as to do any thing else with him. Well, usually. He sank down on the foot of the bed, flicking his eyes from Steve behind the book to his exposed leg. A beat or two and TJ leant in, rolling his weight to lay alongside Steve's legs. First he nudged his nose playfully against the side of Steve's leg, a little warning before he nibbled gently.
