[ Even with Prime gone and the war over, there's still so much left to do. The meetings are constant-- Meetings about the restoration work, meetings about the reparation arrangements, meetings about meetings they would need to have. Adora is part of it all, as she has been the entire time. She doesn't complain, even when the meetings take her late into the night.

And as exhausting as it can be, it's always better when she's finally able to slip back into her and Catra's room, admiring the outline of Catra under the covers in the moon's light. She's silent as a mouse as she closes the door behind her and begins to strip down to her tank top and boy shorts, jacket and pants folded uniformly neat and placed aside.

She slips into bed behind Catra, gently adjusting until she can wind her arms around the woman, pulling her to Adora's chest.

(And isn't that something, being able to actually hold her? No need to remain carefully side by side to avoid anyone's suspicion, no need for Catra to sneak to curl up at her feet. Adora can just hold her now. ) ]
