This is their third date and it had been a good one and Angel had even allowed Steve to drive her home this time. She'd been a bit hesitant about him when they'd first met but he's charming and each one of their dates he'd been able to make her laugh a lot and feel safe and not to mention beautiful. She preens at the attention that he gives her.

He's walked her up to her door and she's not used to such chivalry from men. There's a sense of expectation hanging in the air and she shouldn't feel so shy and hesitant about wanting to kiss him. After all, kisses generally come easily but it's different with Steve. He's not paying her except in the traditional paying for dinner on a date sort of way.

She finds the confidence to lean forward and initiate their first kiss. How cliche the first kiss at the end of a third date.
