THE LOVE CONFESSIONS MEME

Confessions of feelings are rarely as nice and romantic as they seem in the Hollywood flicks. Sometimes, they're screamed across an empty house as someone leaves. Others, they whispered across white pillow cases as bodies lie close together in the dark. Of course, these feelings may not be returned, but it may be the only shot you have.

If you even meant to spill, anyway.

How to Play
- Comment with your character, putting your information and preferences somewhere in the comment.
- Comment to other characters. Roll the RNG to get your prompt, or pick one.
- Play out the scene and take it whatever direction you'd like.
- Be cute and fun or sad and depressing.

1. Planned: You've been planning to tell this person how you feel, and you know exactly the way to do it.

2. Spontaneous: Uh-oh, it just slipped out! Maybe you weren't thinking, maybe it was a fight, but somehow, your secret's out.

3. Heat of the Moment: What's better than calling someone's name out in the trows of passion? Why, telling them you love them, of course!

4. The Last Time: You're coming clean with your feelings because you're dying, moving away, leaving the planet, going to war, whatever. Might as well when you'll probably never see them again.

5. Jealousy: You've seen the one you love in the arms of another, and you just have to let your feelings be known so they don't end up with the wrong person! Selfish, what's selfish?

6. Drunk: A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, so maybe you should be careful what you say, or you'll be telling your best friend you have the hots for her. Awkward.

7. Lie: You don't actually have feelings for this person, but you need them to believe that you do in order to use them, get something, or perhaps to not hurt their feelings.

8. Sweet: You confess...and they feel the same, and have wanted to say it for a while. Oh, how cute! Go on and enjoy your cute little romance.

9. One-sided: One of you confessed, but it's completely unrequited. Can you still be friends, or is that too painful?

10. Forbidden: Your love for this person is totally uncool - not allowed, even. But it has to be brought to light, preferably by you.

11. Unfulfilled: While you both love each other, you decided mutually that this can't go any further.

She tends to work best with the "shonen protagonist" type - translation: any character that tends to be selfless and throw themselves for other people. She also works well with characters that actually bother to understand her and work towards an equal footing relationship, too.]

Mm, it's true. Coach gave me the okay. I don't have to stay at the clinic anymore—he says I got back my strength from physical therapy.

[ The two of them are sitting on the steps outside the Furude Shrine. Seasons have come and gone, and it's spring time now. The sunlight shining down on them isn't as harsh as a Hinamizawa summer, and there's a gentle, cool breeze that occasionally ruffles their hair. It's a lovely day... and knowing that he will be experiencing more of them is something Satoshi never thought he'd get the chance to have.

He can thank his clubmates for that. They were the ones who saved the village, after all.

Satoshi's smiling now, looking to the side and at Rena's profile. She's always been pretty, but she's exceptionally beautiful now that they're a little older. Of course, when they're standing up, she's shorter than everyone else. It's really cute, he thinks. ]

[ Rena tucks her hair behind her ear as a gently breeze blows through. It feels really peaceful, sitting with him like this. Something she wasn't sure she'd ever get to do again after he disappeared. This whole time... he was right under their feet.

She glances over at him with a gentle smile, letting out a laugh. ]

Ehehe, of course! We gotta get your game skills back up anyway! It's more fun with more good players after all!

[ That's partially true, but Rena will also never forget her own time in the hospital. How isolating and scary it was... she doesn't want that for him. Even if there's only so little she can do. ]

Satoko's pretty excited. We'll be having fried chicken tonight as a celebration... Ah, she told me that a friend taught her how to make it. Their name was... Hanyuu-chan? And Rika-chan will be coming over, too.

[ This "Hanyuu" seems to have moved away in the time he was hospitalized, but they taught Satoko many recipes in preparation for his return. Honestly... Satoshi had never been a skilled cook, so having his little sister surpass him in skill is a little embarrassing as an older brother. Satoko's smile more than makes up for it though.

That aside, the topic of club games makes him wearily chuckle. ]

Ahaha, I hope that I can catch up to everyone. I wasn't that great at them back then.

[ At least there's another boy to face them with him. Satoshi sends a silent apology to Keiichi, imagining all too easily what he must've went through. ]
