[ The atmosphere of the games club at Gogura University is different from how things were at the Hinamizawa Branch School or even at Okinomiya High School. Part of that is because Rika and Satoko aren't there with them. But part of that is also because of how many other people, people not from Hinamizawa, there are, too.

Mion's quite popular. She's outgoing, confident, fun, yet generous. And the last few years have definitely seen her become more and more attractive. She was always pretty cute, in that tomboyish sort of way, but now? She's a beautiful woman, and he's found himself admiring her from afar.

He's not very good at this sort of thing. He's used to being friends with everyone now, but not to handling things like attraction and crushes. Part of him wonders if it's a mistake for him to slip something under the door to Mion's dormitory, something that's supposed to be anonymous: a typed note, so as to keep her from recognizing his handwriting: ]
