You are obsessed with this person to the point that it is dangerous, unhealthy and absolutely insane; you want them to be with you, you, you, you, and only you, and nothing is going to stand in your way. No one is going to hurt your love - in fact, no one is going to come near your love. And if they say they don't love you? They will. You'll make them. Because you're meant to be together, and you're going to be together, forever and ever and ever. Married married married~

Fairy tale love. You're convinced that this person is your prince or princess! Your true love! The one that you're destined to be with! And they know it too -- at least, they should. You must woo them, court them, try to convince them that you two were meant to dance with fuzzy adorable mascot animals and have a big wedding together! If they don't love you? You want to hold hands and exchange chocolates and pretty cards and take long walks on the beach and talk about your future and your kids and aaaaw. It's just like you're in a G-rated Disney movie! School Kid Crush love. You're apt to pass love notes and stalk admire your crush from afar. They're so cool and suave, and you're just little old you... but you just can't seem to stop thinking about them and scribbling their name into your notebook! Nervous, nervous, nervous. Ohhh, they're looking at you. How embarrassing! It's almost like they can tell how you feel about them!

You can do anything when it comes down to showing how much you love this person, even if it means spending all your savings on them, buying nice things that they don't actually need. You're so overcome by your love for them, that's all that matters! You'll definitely win them over with your amazing shows of love and prowess!

nine.
Melodramatic love. This is very important and you know you're rushing things a little but this love was meant to be!! Your love life is suddenly a Shakespearean tragedy, complete with dramatic plot twists and turns, and you need to confess your love to the world before it's too late! There's no time to lose; in the morning, you're going to be exiled, your love is going to be hanged, your mother will be shot, your father will become a pirate and someone will kick your puppy!! For bonus points, speak in terrible, hilarious, terrible prose.

ten.
Possessive & Manipulative love. You want this person, need them, want to own them -- but things don't seem to be going as planned. They keep looking at other people and talking to other people... it doesn't matter if they feel the same way, you'll force them into doing what you want them to do. You'll manipulate the situation. You'll manipulate their feelings until they are utterly yours, and can no longer deny that they belong to you. Cold and calculating, you'll get what you want.

( sorry for the late but yes! funny how the short-lived lupin viii takes place in the far future, so the franchise technically has reaches in outer space. the former AU sounds like fun! i can imagine fujiko maneuvering through gunfire in her little getaway ship with a massive bounty over her heard like faye valentine... and though i'm not familiar with your character, if he's got a ship and the notoriety for it he could try to capture fujiko upon meet? or if masaki's got more connections or some sort of accumulated database of interstellar artifacts(?) that'll just sweeten the deal because she'll use the information to plan her own capers, or at least strike a business deal when she needs backup (which she'll likely null by trying to take off with the loot herself.) )

No worries about familiarity, since he's an OC--but he does have a ship and significant notoriety in interstellar society, where he goes out of his way to antagonize the wealthy and powerful for fun while stealing things. He's in some ways very much an opposite number to Fujiko, since he's dead set against getting wrapped up in drama and sentimentality, although he ultimately cares more about living free and having a good time than about the money itself. He'd definitely forgive her snatching a few prizes out from under him, especially if she makes it up to him the next time they meet. A sexy rival-slash-bedmate is worth a pretty big cut of the loot, from his point of view.

Not that he'd just let her stroll off with them, of course. They both have their professional pride.

So, for a scene setup... could be meeting unexpectedly in the middle of a heist they both started independently, or having some time to kill (or some unexpectedly intimate situation that might be awkward for any two less-shameless people) in the middle of a heist, or something like that?)
