You're an angel. Not metaphorically, not in the "you're so sweet" way; you're a literal angel - ethereal energy form, wings, and all. But you're not just any sort of angel. You're a guardian angel. Guardian angels are a caste, or choir, created with the sole purpose of protecting those they're assigned to. Each angel is created specifically for the person they guard, with a few exceptions. The only thing you're programed to know is duty. Naturally, being invested in your charge is expected. What if your feelings for them veer away from "dutiful" into "fondness" and then...something else? Angels aren't supposed to know love, at least not in the way those in the living realm do. Still, nothing is as certain as it used to be, and you're not so sure of your purpose. All you know is that you want to keep your charge safe. Can you guarantee that, now?

How to Play Comment with your character and preferences. Mention if you'd rather play the guardian angel or the guarded. Tag others. Use the RNG to determine your fate. Prompts Watching: You've been watching this person as long as both they and you have been in this world. Maybe over years, maybe suddenly, things aren't the same when you look at them. Guilt: You realized that these pesky emotions are growing and you know this is against everything you know to be true. Your kind cannot love, and even if you could, this is wrong. You have known this person their entire life and thinking of them as more is unacceptable. Terrible Angel: You're not angelic at all and fail neatly at almost all the benchmarks, but when it comes to the one you guard, you don't folly. Righteous Fury: Usually, angels must be removed and impassive. You see your charge mistreated, though, and you lose control. Relegated to Guardian Angelhood: You used to be much more important, of a greater choir of angel. Then, you screwed up and got pushed down into the ranks of guardian angel. It would be easy to be bitter towards your charge. You aren't, for some reason. Can't Be Seen: The person you care for the most can't see you. It's typical angel protocol, yet you can't help but want to make yourself noticeable. Affecting Your Work: Your growing and sometimes erratic emotions make your job harder. You're getting sloppy. You may even allow your charge to be hurt or allow yourself to be conspicuous. Jealousy: You saw your charge with someone else and it...it really ruffled your feathers. Maybe you lost your cool. Hopefully, that won't mean bad mojo for the other person involved. No one would be any wiser if you made their head more attractive to bird droppings, though. Kiss: Can you kiss someone when you technically have no lips? They might just feel a pleasant breeze; still, you're kissing them, and this is...nice. How They'd Like You to Look: You've decided to make yourself known to them, and you want your appearance to be to their liking. Inhabiting the Vessel They Love: A bit more sinister than the above, but also somewhat practical. They already love this body, anyway. Revealing Yourself: You're taking the big step and coming into their life as an actual, tangible presence. Of course, "I'm your guardian angel" rarely gets the response you hope. Stay with You: You promise that you'll stay by their side always, now as a physical companion. Confessions: No matter the costs, you're revealing your true feelings. Deciding to be More: It's dangerous, it's unheard of; however, both of you want to become more than just angel and charge. Intimacy Without a Corporeal Form: They know you're there even when you're not in human form, and they want to touch you. This can be a smut option, but it doesn't have to be. Intimacy With a Corporeal Form: You're beginning to learn what it's like to be intimate with them while you're in this new form. Again, this can be a smut option, but it doesn't have to be. Wings: Letting someone touch your wings is the ultimate show of trust and, in angel terms, one of the closest things you have to sexuality. Called to the Mat: Your higher-ups have learned of your sins. Now, you're on trial. Will you deny your charge? Not Officially Yours: Problem number one: you're in love. Problem number two: it's with some other angel's charge. Second Chance: As previously stated, most guardian angels are created for that one special person. However, some angels whose charges have died young are allowed a second chance. Will this new person ever replace your old? Protection: Now is time to do the guarding - by any means necessary, especially now, after realizing just what your charge means to you. Fallen: Because of your sins, you've lost favor. You've been stripped of your heavenly grace and you've fallen. Immortal: You must deal with the implications that your charge will die and you will be sent on to a new heavenly job. Failed: You didn't do enough. You let yourself slip, and now your charge is dying. They were more than just a charge, so you must do what you can to let their soul pass on in the most peaceful manner possible. But can you let go? CHOOSE YOUR OWN

No. Anakin was good. Obi Wan knew it. He'd followed him since he was a little boy. He was gifted and he'd tried so hard to guide him well.

But now. Now his superiors were saying that Anakin had gone too far. Obi Wan had failed and would no longer be his guardian. That Anakin no longer deserved an angel by his side.

Obi Wan felt like his heart was being shattered.

OMG. Obi Wan, just... Run. Don't even waste your time here anymore.

This was crazy. A guardian angel? A trial? He was dreaming. It must had been something he'd had, some kind of drink. It must have been a dream. A nightmare. The light side still trying to lure him back.

"What'd you mean a guardian angel? Who do you think you are?"

Where do angels go to drink and wear dirty ponchos?

He looked frustrated, his head a little lowered as he looked at Anakin. The mortal was so angry now, he'd been angry a lot recently. But it was understandable. Just because you fell it shouldn't mean you're not allowed to get back up again.

"I don't think anything, I know I'm your guardian angel." Was, technically. "I'm not supposed to reveal myself to you, but I wanted to warn you what was happening. It's all in the balance right now and you have the right to know the facts."

Qui GOD is waiting there, actually

"I have the right to know what?" Anakin practically barked, starting straight towards the crazy stranger coming to him with crazy tales. His eyes glowed, a golden shade taking over.

"I don't need any warnings. Who sent you?!" Master Windu was dead. Was this Yoda? He might as well be dead by now.

LOL, but he's on Anakin's side, surely?

Obi Wan's mouth opened, but the words sputtered out as Anakin's eyes glowed. That wasn't good, he was sure. He tried again.

"No one sent me. I'm here of my own will. What do you need from me? Proof?"

In a flash of light a pair of elegant wings grew and curled around until they were high over Obi Wan's head. Ethereal light shone in beams like a crown around his head. He was the personification of the Jedi sigil.

HE IS THE CHOSEN ONE

There was a time when Anakin belived that angels were something completely different. Beautiful beings that lived in the moons of Iego, or so he had heard. Etereal. Nothing like what he'd seen in that sorry pit of sand where he'd grown up and that now served as his mother's tomb.

He'd never return to that place.

But the anger boiling in him suddenly was washed over with awe. This man was nothing like he'd imagine angels would be. And yet, he knew he was something from other world, so unline any other worlds he'd ever visited.

An actual angel.

"What - What are you here for then?"

"For you. I keep telling you," his voice was both frustrated and warm.

Anakin suddenly seemed calmer, closer to the light. Closer to the Jedi Obi Wan had grown to lo-feel so fondly for.

He'd done that. He'd pushed back the dark and ushered in light. They couldn't make him abandon him now, not when he needed him the most.

"I've been with you since you were a youngling. I won't let them take you from me now."

"Since I was a youngling?" Anakin repeated. There was clear eskepticism in his voice, his eyes narrowed as he took a few sudden strides that closed the distance between them.

Had he been looking after him? It could be. Anakin's always known he was special. He had been lucky to get out of Tatooine, while his loved ones were not. He had been lucky to meet Padme, to win her over. He had always been talented when it came to fighting, the force was strong with him too.

He was special. It made sense to think he was asigned an angel.

Not thinking about it twice, he touched the angel's face, his frame almost pushed into the smaller being's personal space. They were barely inches apart as Anakin studied him.

"Now what? Are you here to protect me on my new path?"

— if he's the guardian angel then suffice to say he has lots of 'animals' who will be keeping you company too so hopefully that's okay...he looks like a teenager but if he's your angel then it'd be one of those oops but i'm immortal so actually in my hundreds or something like that. an angle on the guardian thing would be if he's a guardian demon, forced into contract by some powerful underworld sort, who wants him to keep someone BAD alive in exchange for releasing his sister's soul or some such yada yada. since you know, usually angels guard decent/normal/good folk...just a thought anyway, if you happen to play someone more in the gray to other area...

— if he's the guarded, it has the chance of being...interesting if semi fused with his canon in that he has self sacrificial tendencies (convenient/inconvenient in the jujutsu shaman world...) and your character might be v tired with this hypocritical boy who still doesn't know the difference between winning after dying or dying victoriously. still comes w/ "animals" tho, aka his shikigami.
