[ Ranma Saotome was growing as the days went by. As the successor of the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts, and someone who wanted to make sure the techniques he learned wasn't total bullshit, it made sense to seek out someone else to train under for a while. Someone he could learn from in both forms, and someone remarkably strong.
It'd been a couple of months since he began studying under Chun-Li and he could feel something growing for sure. He was only getting stronger regardless of the body he possessed, and as tough as she was, she was still a breath of fresh air from what he'd been dealing with up until now. Spending a year under her tutelage was worth it, in more ways than one. He could grow up a bit (getting his ass kicked multiple times early on for certain comments taught him about that) and he could have a goal to strive for.
If he can defeat Chun-Li, he's ready. But... was it right? Did he even want to be ready? For once, he was conflicted about it. It was most likely clear to her in their most recent sparring session. As always he was defeated, but it might've been clear exactly how much he had been pulling his punches. Ranma certainly didn't need to, but... he didn't even want the outside chance of winning.
Afterwards, he works on his cool down stretches, sore as hell... but, unable to get out of his own head. Why was this happening? It made no goddamn sense to him... but, it was probably better now to just get ready to wind down for the day. Finish up, shower... and try to not think about his teacher for a bit. ]
