Um...

(Well... She's got her backpack, so she must be out here for a reason. She scuffles in it for a moment, bringing out her notebook. Nothing written in it seems to be relevant.) Oh, no. (But!! She has got to keep moving. If she doesn't she'll get stiff and stop, and then she doesn't know when she'll get back up, which would be bad. She thinks.

So, she sets off running again, right into a very solid person. She lands on the floor. She tilts her head at him from her even lower than usual vantage.) Are you... what I'm looking for?

[ he sees that moment replay in his head, over and over again. the bright light of the dragon seared through his eyelids, the shadow of kavinsky above him. his arms spread, a wicked smile on his face as he embraces his death with open arms.

get down, you bastard!

he hadn't thought. stay down he'd told matthew, and that had been his last conscious thought before adrenaline and instinct took over. ronan had moved, climbing up the car and snagging the back of kavinsky's shirt. i said get down! echoing in the night air as he yanks, ripping him from the top of the car and hauling him into his arms along with matthew.

the albino nighthorror had been on the dragon seconds before impact. it screamed, the dragon had screamed, it had struck the ground and burned a crater into it. his night horror had shrieked as its claws sunk deeper into burning flesh and it had burned, victorious and vengeful, before taking off into the air and heading towards the barns.

i got you, it's going to be okay. he'd told matthew, but he'd really been speaking to them both. later that night when the dust had settled and kavinsky had been tucked into ronan's bed in monmouth manufacturing, he'd turned to adam and said he can't stop. we'd better fix the fucking leyline.

and so they had.

now here they are in the aftermath. trying to figure out what to do next. where to go from here now that their little fucked up family had two dreamers and a missing king to find. ]
