(By the time she comes out, the goblin's finished up his phone call with Deok Hwa and is calling construction people to come and rebuild and fix the mess that the grim reaper has caused. What a pain in the ass... Hanging up when Nemuri comes out, he sighs and runs a hand up over his forehead through his hair.)

Don't worry about that dummy. He's always like that.

(Not untrue. Harsh, but not untrue. If the reaper could he'd probably disappear into the wall. Actually he could but it would be awkward to explain away.)

I have to get contractors out here to get this fixed and... Is my china okay?

(Typical Kim Shin. Off he went into the house to check on his prized china leaving the awkward and mute man standing there with the poor hero.)

[ She opened her mouth to say that he didn't answer her question, but she thought better of it and decided that that was his answer. Whether it meant that he was okay or not, he was more fixated on the damage to his house and his property. Which, again, was fair - Nemuri would also have the same concerns.

She let out a sigh, glancing at the grim reaper who was now pretending that he couldn't see her. ]

I just need to get some more details for my report.

[ Nemuri once again headed inside after the homeowner, her stiletto heels clicking on the floor. ]

Excuse me? I just need to ask a few more questions for my police report.

[ She settled in front of Kim Shin, who was inspecting his plates. ]

Could you give me your names and tell me what happened to cause the fire?

[While the reaper was trying to make himself as small as possible and/or disappear, the goblin was busy agonizing over his china. When Nemuri came in, he was gratefully setting aside all of the pieces that were untouched by the fire.]

Details?

[He didn't even look at her - rude - and kept filing through his dishes.](The response was flat and his expression was blank even though he was looking down at his china. He was used to dealing with Wang Yeo's problems but this was the first time it had caused any real damage to his home and he was not too happy about it.)

[ Nemuri resisted the urge to sigh. She could leave him here and have the police handle it, but that would be sloppy work on her part, and she didn't want to give the police extra work just because someone was a jerk. The law enforcement of Tokyo was busy enough as it was. ]

Sir, I understand that you may be distraught after the fire. Especially because of the property damage. However, if you could tell me your name and the details surrounding the fire, I can get out of your hair that much quicker.

(He really was an asshole, unfortunately. Right now he only cared about his plates and exacting revenge on the reaper but he sighed and set the piece of china down to look at her.)

My name is Yoo Shin Jae. The fire was caused by my housema-

(The goblin was interrupted by a rambunctious man coming running in, waving his hands.)

Ah. There's Deok Hwa. He'll take care of it from here.

(With that monotone statement, he turned back to his plates and the excited youth ran up to Nemuri.)

Sorry, my uncles are causing trouble again are they?

Mr. Yoo Shin Jae. [ Nemuri nodded, filing the name into her memory. ] And what is your housemate's name - ?

[ She was interrupted when a young man arrived, seemingly to the rescue, and she quirked a brow at him. ]

Ah, well - no one was hurt, thankfully, and it's not so much trouble as it was very nearly a sad event. I'm just glad that everyone's alright and that most of the house is still intact.

[ Nemuri glanced back to the goblin. ] I'll still need you to recount what happened. Mr. Deok Hwa was not here to witness what had occurred.

(Kim Shin sucked the air in through his nose and was about to go off when Deok Hwa stepped in between the lady and his "uncle".)

Ahem. Miss, my uncle is... Very busy. And Uncle Down the Hall doesn't usually give out his name so-

(The goblin patted Deok Hwa lightly on the shoulder before stepping in for a second.)

If I give you the details, you'll leave, right?

(Rude.)

So my housemate decided to tinker with the dishwasher motor. That's all it was. It overheated and caused a fire, that's all there is to it.

[ Nemuri was unfazed when Mr. Yoo Shin Jae interrupted his nephew to take over the story. He seemed like that kind of guy. ]

Thank you. That's all I need.

[ She resisted the urge to add, "if you'd told me that to begin with, I wouldn't have had to keep nagging you."

She then turned to the younger man who'd just arrived at the scene. ]

I'll need to know "Uncle Down the Hall"'s name as well for the police record, since his actions resulted in the fire.

[ Her electric blue eyes flickered up to look at said Grim Reaper Down the Hall, who was, indeed, down the hall. He'd turned on the huge TV and was pretending to be engrossed with a Korean drama, but Nemuri knew enough body language through experience to know that he was eavesdropping. ]

Don't worry, it's just to document what happened. Nobody's in trouble or anything, [ she hastened to reassure Deok Hwa. And the Goblin, if he even cared. She doubted it. ]

(The "nephew" and his "uncle" exchanged glances when the hero asked them for the reaper's name.)

(The nephew spoke up. The older man went back to his plates, shaking his head. It was clear something was up there, but neither one of them was volunteering any information about it. It looked like Nemuri was going to be on her own dealing with the very-clearly-not-eavesdropping-man who was over in front of the television right now.)

[ Nemuri's brows rose up even further. Yes, it was suspicious, because only villains and people who operated outside of the law refused to give their names. At least, as far as she was concerned.

She headed towards the grim reaper, who seemingly ignored her, even if her heels clicked loudly across the floor.

She stopped at his side, looking up at him while he still refused to make eye contact. ]

Sir, I'd like to know your name for my police report. After that I'll be out of your hair.

(Now it's time for the two idiots in the kitchen to try to be inconspicuous and sneak up to eavesdrop as Nemuri goes over to the reaper who promptly tries to look away from her and pretend she doesn't exist.

He stammers and blubbers while holing his hand up as if it would create a shield between them.)

I- uh- I-

(And that's about all she gets out of him before he took off running down the hall. There was a door slam and then silence.)

[ She turned to the two men. ]

I suppose he's shy.

(There was a disgusted sigh from the goblin as he turned away leaving Deok Hwa to deal with the situation.)

That's true, Uncle Down the Hall is bad with women. Maybe I can help you out?

(Smooth, Deok Hwa. He was totally trying to shmooze with Nemuri now too.)

[ Nemuri sighed, bracing her hands on her hips. ]

Please just get me his name. I need it for my report. You can call me at the police station.

[ She handed him a calling card from god-knows-where, with the police station's phone number included. ]

(Score. In Deok Hwa's mind he just got the number of a super hot lady. The goblin was rolling his eyes from the kitchen, though.)

[ If he didn't mind dealing with cops and detectives, then he might be able to talk to her. ]

I'll get going, then.

[ She nodded to Deok Hwa, then to the goblin, who she was able to catch rolling his eyes at his nephew. She smirked. ]

Have a good day ahead.

(Nobody ever said Deok Hwa was smart. Ever. And they definitely wouldn't after seeing how he looked after Nemuri like a lovestruck puppy as she left the scene.

His reverie would be interrupted though by his "uncle" who was in the mood to get his house fixed up and telling him immediately to start getting construction crews in to fix the damage a certain dummy had caused.

For now, the hero's duty was done.)
