[ The ceremony was held privately, with only Viktor and Yuuri's family and close friends in attendance. Their relationship is very publicly known about and supported - which feels both flattering and insane (the former part, that is) - even to those who don't follow figure skating, but keeping their wedding to a small affair was one of the first things they had agreed upon. The exact date and location was kept quiet about, most especially to prevent any media or paparazzi from showing up with their phones and cameras. This wasn't some grand performance for someone to profit from.

Thankfully, everything went down without incident. The two of them couldn't have been more grateful and pleased.

By all accounts Yuuri should be completely exhausted when they check into the local hotel they booked for the next couple of days. A 'pre-honeymoon,' so to speak, until they'll fly out elsewhere. The suite is lavish, complete with its own kitchen, spacious bathroom, and readied with everything else they might need or want.

Except. . . Yuuri isn't tired. Not especially. His heart still skips and flutters, and he possibly will need to pinch himself more than once tonight. The giddiness would almost be embarrassing if there wasn't also the feeling of amazement. Finally. He and Viktor were finally and properly wed (even for as significant their relationship was prior).

The room has Yuuri's awed attention from the moment they open the door, before even fully entering. ]
