[So Naruko didn't have much warning that she was to be married to this Dirk Strider guy. He was a general badass and saved people as usual. Actually saved all of their behinds which Naruko was trying to and in return the village decided to marry her off. Not only was she physically hurt but so was her pride. She was dressed up in a beautiful kimono to at least meet him but she gnashing her teeth and ready to push someone, anyone.

Dirk would feel a similar pressure, denying the gift would piss of quite a few people in the influential country.]

It had a nice ring to it, not that Tasuki thought about it all that hard, all he had to do was think of his mother and all five of his sisters and his mind had been made up. Rarely did they ever take into consideration what the redhead wanted as what he wanted was of no importance to them—the drawback of growing up in a household completely dominated by women. Typically they would chase him out of the house, either by swinging the business end of a broom at him or lobbing heavy objects in his direction. If he let slip the word ‘wedding’ he knew it would be a free for all and that would be fine if Tasuki was the only victim, but there was Isaak to think about…not that he worried too much about Isaak, but this was different. Isaak was pretty, there was no telling what they would do to him if they found out and sunk their little harpy claws into him, but the bandit could conjure up some pretty horrific images.

Mind made up he sought Isaak out, hooked his arm around his waist and guided him towards the nearest exit. Whether he liked it or not there was no way he was going to introduce his companion to his family. He wouldn’t be surprised if Isaak was a little confused or bemused by his sudden, random behavior, “c’mon! If they get their hands on you it’ll all be over, better if they don’t find out at all and I’ve always been just fine with simple!”
