Without his helmet and armor, even with the Brotherhood of Mutants again playing on nearly every news broadcast, Magneto found he could walk down the street and very few people paid him any attention at all. At times like this one, at the wrong time of the morning when all he wanted was a cup of coffee that wasn't burned and perhaps a bit of breakfast, being able to look far less dangerous was a blessing. Of course, all that was open was Denny's.

Well, he'd hope the coffee was fresh, anyway.

His accent was a light mix of German and British. When ordering, it was his only source of worry. His voice was distinct, and along with both recent Brotherhood attacks, the news stations had been playing Magneto's recorded threats as well. "Coffee, and some extra cream, if you don't mind. Also, I think I'll have the crepes, please." While he was waiting on his food, he unfolded a newspaper, but didn't pay much attention to it. He was more curious about who else was around him.

Such as one woman nearby. He'd seen her before, but it slipped his mind where. Hmm.

Ordinarily, he was too classy for a place like this, she knew, but sometimes after a long night of sitting on the face of one of the most brilliant minds in modern archaeology, a girl needed a Moons Over My Hammy.

There was going to be complaining from the other side of the table, Rey knew it, she expected it, and when it came she would make fun of it until Henry surrendered with one of those handsome smirks that made her relent too, even when he didn't deserve it.

Her legs were stretched out under the table, her feet notched around one of his ankles lazily as she peered over the mountain of pancakes she had ordered to accompany her entree at him.

"You should load up on coffee Jones," her eyebrows raised and she accompanied the statement with a little smirk that suggested their evening together was nowhere near concluding once everyone had been fed and had a moment to collect themselves.
