[It's not the first time this has happened, though Wolf is loath to admit that. The fact that the mad scientist survived the explosions was surprising enough. More surprising still is that, no matter how he asks, he can't get a damn thing out of the guy. Interrogation never was Wolf's strong suit, not when it came to psychological things you couldn't just brute force. So he's taken to some unconventional means. If he breaks his captive, maybe he'll be able to figure out the way to really keep Zero from harm.

He hasn't told Zero about this, and she's left to her own devices more or less when he comes here. He's thoroughly alone, and wrapped up in unfamiliar cloaks so no one with even the slightest knowledge of him would ever stop him to question it. Anyway, who'd care about weird noises from an abandoned building in the shit part of town? Nobody asks, and Wolf isn't telling. The only person he has to lie to about it is himself, in saying something might actually come of it, and it's for a good cause. He tells himself he doesn't like this, but...

When he enters the building, he sees the man in a familiar heap against the opposite wall, shaded from a window's view by a stack of crates. If you didn't know what you were looking for, you'd miss it entirely. But Wolf never misses. With long strides, he makes his way over to Dom's side, ready to take things to some extreme or another for the nth time. Dom doesn't move at Wolf's approach, which can only mean he's been caught unawares.

How on earth does Dom manage to sleep, tied up as he is? Does he even know the time of day, with that blindfold on? Maybe he just passes out, like Wolf has done so many times in his life; more times than he can count.

Crouching beside him, Wolf pulls off a pack he carries, full of food that doesn't taste like much, but will keep Dom alive. It's important that Wolf gets to the bottom of this. He shoves from his mind the budding empathy he has for the scientist, who talks like a broken record about how he's right, it was all for the best, how the world should thank him. In Wolf's opinion, the man is a monster, but... if he thought he was doing the right thing, he might deserve a little mercy when the time comes to end all of this.

Looking the sleeping figure over, he thinks over every tactic he's used. Being... attentive and showing a little common ground seemed to get more coherent (to Wolf) answers out of the guy, but last time one threat got a reaction. Maybe that's the way to make him talk.

Uncaring for his prisoner's comfort, Wolf reaches out and shoves Dom onto his back, his ankles and wrists tied tight, his wrist ties looped over an exposed beam in the wall. There's a piece of cloth tied over Dom's mouth, too, just in case he gets some bright idea about shouting for help when he's alone in here. It's possible he's exhausted enough that a little rough handling won't wake him, of course. It doesn't stop Wolf at all.

He immediately moves into action, a hand gripping Dom's shirt to shove it up. It makes it obvious that he's... well, dreaming about something other than here, maybe. The sight just makes Wolf laugh harshly.]
