Open 24-hours, in large cities Wal-Mart is a place people show up to shop mindlessly for anything they need. In small towns, it may be literally the only business open after 10pm, making it an unlikely hang-out for locals.

Regardless of where it's located, Wal-Mart always seems to have the strange effect of making time crawl, as the aisles stretch on into infinity, and the tinny in-store music plays on a loop.

The store was huge. Humongous. Gargantuan. Enormous. Brice didn't really like it one bit but he didn't trust the old antique shops and flea markets for what his mission was today.

Sometimes you just need some factory-made, disease-free ice cube trays. And while they weren't a necessity (Brice would drink what he had cool from the fridge no problem), he was worried that if he ever had guests over, they would want ice. And if he didn't have ice, then he figured they probably wouldn't stay.

Which would eat into his sex life, most assuredly.

"Uh, excu...ex...pard...hey, sorry..." The cutie who had dragged a blender in front of the exact shelf Brice needed to look at was really not aware of his surroundings. Brice wasn't the type to shove someone away, or even touch someone without permission. But, still, he needed to look at the ice cube trays.
