[ Jesse enters the room he was assigned only to find out someone's already in there. He checks the room number again, his foot still holding the door propped open, then again, then he steps inside and throws his duffle bag to the floor carelessly. ]

Yo, Captain America, or whatever, you're in the wrong room.

[ Jesse flashes the little paper envelope that his key-card came in, which clearly has this room number written on it in black Sharpie. He checked twice. He isn't wrong (this time).]

[ She was supposed to be here for a big glitz and glamour show. You know, glad-hand, share the red carpet, put in a good word for the sponsors. That sort of thing. Came with being an internet mega-celebrity. Of course, someone, somewhere, had managed to make a mess of it. She'd ended up double-booked in a hotel room - worse, the hotel only had one of their smaller rooms left! She didn't really mind that, honestly.

It was just that they'd insisted she had to share because everything else was booked up and it was too late notice for them (or anyone) to find something else. Of course, considering the convention, odds are everything that wasn't a roach motel was already booked solid. Great.

She was already jetlagged, so she left someone else to argue with them and see about refunds and dragged herself and her rolling suitcase up to the hotel room. With a tired sigh, she keyed the door open and stepped inside and promptly pulled up short. Her roommate for the next evening (at least) was already there. Which wasn't really the issue. The issue was that she knew exactly who she was. Her eyes widened. ]

[ Funny how she feels naked even in her very modest nightgown. Dressing down even a little makes her feel a touch self-conscious, but sleeping in her church garb would be... odd, right? ]

I'm very sorry there isn't much space. None of our rooms here were meant to accommodate two people.

[ You know. Because they're nuns. The quarters are small, stone walled and a touch on the cold side, hence Adeline's growing collection of mostly home-made blankets. She has a wooden chest full of them and is currently pulling one from within. ]

I've enough blankets to keep me quite comfortable on the floor if you would prefer.

It had been a long tour. Worth it but long. The stop in this city though, Anna had put her foot down at finding a decent place to stay for the few days that they were scheduled to be there. Hot water and a bed she could die in and be happy were the requirements.

After their gig of the night, and the after party, she had trudged to her room, showered, and slipped into a long t-shirt and bedded down. Well and good. And it did not take her long to slip into dreams.

The problem was when she startled 'awake' in the wee hours. Completely on autopilot she got a drink of water, got turned around, and stumbled into the hall and somehow managed to enter Diana's room. Which was laid out much like her own.

Mostly asleep she climbed 'back' into bed, pulling at the covers and snuggling in. It would not be long before her body sought out the heat in the bed and her arm slopped over Diana's form.

Of course, the hotel is overbooked and those double rooms he'd asked for don't materialize. He considers moving across town, but one look at their exhausted faces and he relents.
