Scrub-a-dub-dub, this meme is ridiculous. No, really. This is a meme about taking a bath. Silly.

1. Bubble Bath: Here, the characters are sharing a humongous bubble bath with all the froth they can handle. The scent is delicious, the water is warm; go on, enjoy yourselves!
2. Shower: Perhaps not as fun as a bubble bath, but hey, at least it's built to accommodate two. Don't slip!
3. Hot Tub: A whirlpool of warmth and mm. Don't mind me. I'll just be sinking in.
4. Hot Springs: An outdoors bath is good, too, right? Or maybe this is part of a hotel. Either way, it sure is steamy.
5. Decadent Bath: There could be bubbles here, or maybe just those wonderful smelling oils and salts. Awwww, yeah. This bath probably cost a small fortune, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
6. Lake: In case the hot springs weren't rugged enough for you, here's an actual lake, complete with waterfall for all your rinsing pleasures.

Most of the camp is caught up in dancing and drinking themselves into a stupor, so Sara takes the opportunity to head up to the hot springs with a bottle of ale for a warm soak. It's a small surprise to see that they're already occupied, but she shoots the woman a smile in greeting, setting the ale down next to the water's edge. ]

[As a part of Zelda's exploration crew, Joseph was responsible for handling tasks like carrying supplies, coming up with plans to help defeat monsters along the way and join in the long meetings discussing about what artifacts they had uncovered for the day. Joseph always had a hunger for adventure since it ran in the family's blood. But he felt that some of the warriors who orbited around the princess were way too serious. Joseph found himself butting heads with them due to his freespirited and mischievous personality.

Once he was finished moving some boxes around, he decided to go take a bath in the lake nearby. It was a rather large lake with long grass, so he felt that he'd get enough privacy as he washed himself off. Though his bathing was interrupted once he heard some humming. Hm? Now what's this...

Pushing back some of the grass, Joseph ends up seeing an unexpected and beautiful sight! Princess Zelda washing up underneath a waterfall in the nude? Now this wasn't a sight that anyone would get to see everyday! Now a gentlemen would've pretended that they didn't see anything, however...]

Heh heh heh! Nice, nice! I didn't think that the princess had a good set of curves on her!

( Marcus had no doubt that Esca had not forgotten his status as a freedman, but he felt the need to speak the words, anyway. If the two of them had stayed in Rome proper instead of settling up north, further obligations would have fallen onto Esca's head as Marcus' freedman, but Marcus had no interest in such regimented social expectations, not anymore. In Marcus' eyes, they were equals. If accepting that was strangely freeing to Marcus, he could only imagine the complexity of the Briton's feelings.

Esca was under no obligation to stay, Marcus had made that clear, but he couldn't deny a twinge of relief and not a small amount of joy when Esca spoke of possible joint future ventures as they traveled back towards Hadrian's Wall. Now that they had somewhat settled with land of their own - they bred horses, of course, and Marcus should be more concerned about how many arguments Esca was winning nowadays, but he couldn't bring himself to much care - they were beginning to develop a sort of routine, much easier than the one formed at his uncle's place. The home they had built these past few months wasn't lavish, but it was theirs.

The section that held the heated bath was the last to be built, and the only reason it was made at all was at his uncle's insistence and cost. He had spoken at great length many times on how lucky Marcus was to be walking at all, and he knew he was right. What was a mere annoyance in the summer months was turning into a hazard as winter crept closer, and the surgeon insisted that he keep his crippled leg warm. Marcus acquiesced eventually, somewhat abashed by the attention, and with Esca's agreement, the laborers came to see it finished.

If the light frost on the trees hadn't signaled that winter had arrived, his leg certainly did, seizing up more and more often as he went on with his day's tasks. When the sun made its downwards descent, Marcus couldn't stand for more than a minute or so at a time, and with a frustrated sigh, he told Esca he was going to heat up the bath to try and get his useless leg to work. He hadn't expected Esca to stop and help support him the rest of the way to the house, though he probably should have. Esca had dragged Marcus through much worse conditions before. The mirror action lit something in his chest, a feeling he hadn't examined too closely, though it was hardly new. He pushed it down, chalking up the flush in his cheeks to exhaustion, and focused on putting one foot after the other until they made it to their abode.

He tried to wave Esca away once he helped him sit down, fighting through his urge to grimace in pain. ) Thank you, but you don't have to - ( Another spasm, this one longer than the others, and Marcus keeled over at the sharp burst of pain, riding it out. When he spoke again, his voice was rough and used. ) I'm fine.
