TRAIN MEME

There's someone you need to meet, somewhere you need to be, or maybe you're just going wherever the wind takes you today. It could be early in the morning or late at night. Time doesn't really matter when the trains are available around the clock. Whatever the case you can guarantee there will be others waiting with you or already along for the ride, and it could very well be a long one.

Hopefully you've brought some company or an activity to keep you busy until the next destination. But if not, you can always make a new friend along the way.

scenarios

1. WAITING GAME: It seems you've arrived at the station ahead of schedule. You could be waiting for the train or maybe for someone to show. There's plenty of time to spare either way. Why not use it to catch up on some reading or grab a bite to eat or ask for directions? Feel free to explore around the building too, and you just might find someone who's as bored as you are.


2. TRAVELING TOGETHER: Did you agree to meet up with someone before the ride? A friend, a date, possibly even someone you just met? Or maybe you had no choice in the matter. For better or worse the two of you are making the journey together, wherever you're headed. Hopefully you'll be able to find something to do or talk about to pass the time.


3. ROOM FOR ONE MORE: All the seats appear to be taken except for one, or maybe you just wanted an excuse to sit by one person in particular. They could be someone you've met before, or a total stranger you'd like to get to know, or it's possible you actually know them and this train ride just turned into an unexpected reunion.


4. UNITED OR REUNITED: Whether you're the one who rode the train here or the one arriving at the station, or you both took separate trains to the same place, you're anxious to see each other again after a long time apart. Though under special circumstances, this could actually be your first time meeting. Were you dreading this moment or is it everything you hoped for?


5. WILDCARD: Choose your own adventure.

Imagine, if you will, that one day on a perfectly ordinary train there was a regularly scheduled stop. And stepping onto it was a young man wearing nothing but a fig leaf, walking about as in a daze. Eyes bright and sparkling like a child at Disney Land- though with a slightly tense pose, predatory muscles tight.

A star? Inside a dragon's stomach? He thought, staring at one of the lights on the ceiling of a carriage. Easy as plucking an apple, he yanked it out of its fitting. Startled lightly by the sparks, but more concerned that he had just snuffed out a tiny star.

Traveling was usually done through the use of the limos or cars, at least for someone like Haru. Or at least that's what Hei had assumed. When being hired as a bodyguard, he expected to do the driving or sit as she played on the phone. Showed he knew little of his employer as she seemed perfectly content taking the train, even with the numerous people out and about, often stuffing it. Even his patience could be tested as people shoved their elbows into his back, or other such annoyances.

They were still not at their destination, needing to take another one. For now, they just waited at the bench, waiting...and continuing to wait as a delay was announced over the intercom.

"Must have been an accident or something," he thought out loud. "Need me to get any snacks as we wait?"
