I. BAD ROMANCE
01. IT'S TOO LATE TO APOLOGIZE. You had a fight and now your lover isn't sure they want to even hear your apologies.

III. HOW CAN I EXIST WITHOUT YOU?
01. YOU WOULDN'T WANT ME TO HAVE TO HURT YOU TOO... The object of your love/lust is resisting your advances, so it's time to take what you want.
02. JEALOUSY. It's jealousy to the extreme. You're going to make damn sure your lover knows how you feel about them seeing other people.
03. INCEST IS BEST. You know it's wrong, all kinds of sinful, but you can't resist the draw. If characters aren't related, then they are now! Or at least it feels very close to incest anyway.
04. YOU'RE NEVER GONNA GET FAR. You love that person so much, you've made sure they can't get away - by physically tying them down or by some other emotional or mental means.

[ Once her name echoed from the down hallway, it didn’t take long for the girl to come to a complete stop. The digits which gripped around the leather handle of her book bag tightened. Who on earth could be calling to her? She had only arrived and transferred to this school as little as under a week ago and since then, it was safe to say that Asuka haven’t went out of her way to mingle and socialize with her other classmates to form any sort of correction or relationship. Doing such a thing was considered a complete and utterly waste of time. She was only here to do one thing and one thing only, and that was simply to pilot Eva Unit 02 and defend Tokyo-3 from any potential Angel attacks.

But with curiosity taking its’ toll, her head shifted. Bight cerulean pools became visual as she peeked over her shoulder and darted her gaze at the person whose voice she couldn’t quite recognize until her eyes fell into place and locked with the male; which in resulted caused her eyes to widened. ]

Tim… [ His name murmured through her lips. Why was he here? Of all places? She couldn’t say that she was thrilled to see her old acquaintance, as she puts it. It was actually the exact opposite, as she remembered clearly stating that she did not wish to ever see his face again, right after he had called off and put a stop whatever they had off. It wasn’t an everyday occurrence for someone like Asuka to pour her heart and inner thoughts out to someone. Trust was a very fragile thing, and she for a short while thought that she could trust his words and actions until he turned his back on her.

She had foolishly thought he accepted her.]

I’m not even going to begin to ask why you’re here. I thought I made myself quite clear the last time we’ve spoken. [ She spoke out, finally turning her form around to face him. ]

[Tim had come to expect this sort of reaction. There was no reason for him to respond to her animosity, focused instead on her words.]

Deep down, you know you want to.

[He did lose eye contact in remembering the past.]

'Cause, look... I know we ended things on a sour note, and I don't blame you for the resentment. But it was complicated; too much, too soon.

I'm glad to see you are acknowledging that much. [ Too much, too soon. Those words fail to seize her attention, especially when she was willing to wait for him. Long distance wasn’t an issue. To her, it was at least something she could have held on to. ]

You listen… [ She sighed, throwing her bag over her shoulder as she prepared to turn her, so she could continue on with her school day in peace . ] I don’t have time your excuses. You’re wasting my time.

Wait, please--! [In his haste, he grabbed her arm.]

I know it was hard for you, I really do. But you have to imagine... it was hard for me too. I couldn't sleep for days in the aftermath of that impossible choice, Asuka. Greater forces, bigger things than the two of us were at work!

[ Stopping, her eyes shifted down to his hand and then back up towards him. ]

You're right. There are bigger thing out there, bigger--more important things than you... which you're holding me back from. Now do me this favor...

[ Jerking herself away, she tugged her arm away. ]

[Grabbing her arm the first time didn't work, so why try again?]

[He sighed, resigning from any attempts to further the matter. She always was impossible when she was like this, and now, who could blame her?]

... [ Before turning away, she glared back over towards him. "I'm sorry?" It would take more than that for Asuka to even to reconsidered things. However, her curiosity was still there and he was right about what he had said earlier to her. ]

So, why are you here? This isn't exactly right around the corner from Gotham.

My "dad" is on a business venture again, so I have the luxury of traveling with him. Not that it's the best time to be in Japan, of course.

[Tim knew this long before he started investigating Japan as Robin, but he wasn't about to blow his cover.]

That's, well- that's awesome! Way better than sitting through high-yield lectures in Japanese, if you ask me.
