THE LOVE CONFESSIONS MEME

Confessions of feelings are rarely as nice and romantic as they seem in the Hollywood flicks. Sometimes, they're screamed across an empty house as someone leaves. Others, they whispered across white pillow cases as bodies lie close together in the dark. Of course, these feelings may not be returned, but it may be the only shot you have.

If you even meant to spill, anyway.

How to Play
- Comment with your character, putting your information and preferences somewhere in the comment.
- Comment to other characters. Roll the RNG to get your prompt, or pick one.
- Play out the scene and take it whatever direction you'd like.
- Be cute and fun or sad and depressing.

Prompts

1. Planned: You've been planning to tell this person how you feel, and you know exactly the way to do it.

2. Spontaneous: Uh-oh, it just slipped out! Maybe you weren't thinking, maybe it was a fight, but somehow, your secret's out.

3. Heat of the Moment: What's better than calling someone's name out in the trows of passion? Why, telling them you love them, of course!

4. The Last Time: You're coming clean with your feelings because you're dying, moving away, leaving the planet, going to war, whatever. Might as well when you'll probably never see them again.

5. Jealousy: You've seen the one you love in the arms of another, and you just have to let your feelings be known so they don't end up with the wrong person! Selfish, what's selfish?

6. Drunk: A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, so maybe you should be careful what you say, or you'll be telling your best friend you have the hots for her. Awkward.

7. Lie: You don't actually have feelings for this person, but you need them to believe that you do in order to use them, get something, or perhaps to not hurt their feelings.

8. Sweet: You confess...and they feel the same, and have wanted to say it for a while. Oh, how cute! Go on and enjoy your cute little romance.

9. One-sided: One of you confessed, but it's completely unrequited. Can you still be friends, or is that too painful?

10. Forbidden: Your love for this person is totally uncool - not allowed, even. But it has to be brought to light, preferably by you.

11. Unfulfilled: While you both love each other, you decided mutually that this can't go any further.

[Ciro nearly draws his hand away when Rune speaks, showing he's not actually asleep. For someone who can feel what the people around him are feeling, Ciro has a hard time locking in on Rune's emotions unless they're deep and intense, obvious. Times like this it feels like the other witch is just quiet and guarded so Ciro would have to pry to dig deeper and even then isn't guaranteed to come up with anything solid.

Maybe that's part of why he appreciates Rune's company so much. He can be quiet, peaceful, and grounding when he wants to be. That question, though. Based on past experiences, it's never followed by anything good, but this is Rune, and Ciro trusts him--blindly at times.]

As much as any being can love another. It's hard to quantify.. [But that's not really an answer, is it? And he knows Rune enough to know he wants something he can measure or use.] I'd do anything for you. Things you wouldn't think I'm capable of.

[Ciro lets Rune's fingers stay between his own for a moment, but pulls them away to touch the side of his face, gently moving it to face him better.] Is that too much? Or not enough?

[ He doesn't really want an explanation.

If anything, he'd much prefer it if Ciro stopped talking and turned away from him so they could both sleep, but Rune is too restless to even consider that, eyes slipping closed at the touch of his fingers to his face. All of this is just a dream, one they'll eventually wake up from, and he doesn't know why he'd wasted all of this time avoiding and pretending that his own feelings for Ciro weren't the same. They could have been happier. He could have tried harder, and that's the only regret he has, slowly looking at him before turning his face into his hand. ]

I think I know what you're capable of, Ciro. [ He can feel all that power just sitting dormant inside him and how ravenous it is. ] But it's fine. You don't have to do anything else.

[ Really, he should be the one trying to prove something, and waiting only a moment longer, Rune pushes up onto his elbow and leans over him. He brushes his hair away from his cheeks, dipping down to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth and then the other. Their noses touch, their foreheads, and it's so intensely intimate that, for a moment, Rune feels himself wavering. He can't do this, but he has to even if Ciro never forgives him for it. So, the words are warm and soft and barely more than a whisper when he speaks them. ]

I'd do anything for you too.

[Ciro contemplates Rune's response, not sure if its an honest answer or something he's being told to encourage him to shut up and go back to sleep. With Rune it can be difficult to tease out one intention from the other, but for now he'll let it go, nodding in acceptance of it.

He's unsure whether the other witch truly is aware of the level of destruction he's capable of, but he's not going to bring it up now. It's fine, Rune said. Either it is or it isn't and he just wants to sleep. Worrying over it is only going to keep them awake longer, so Ciro starts to pull away to head back to his own bed when Rune leans over him.

The contact shuts down all the lingering doubts that plagued him just a moment ago, and his eyes close as their faces rest together connected at just a couple points.]

I don't think you would, but I appreciate that you feel that way. [Ciro closes the small gap between their mouths, kissing Rune full on and using the force of it to put Rune back on his back.] Good night.
