Haunted House Meme

Everyone knows to stay away from the large empty house on the hill. It’s haunted. But maybe you’re seeking a thrill, or maybe you’re searching for something lost or locked away. Maybe you are the ghost haunting the old building. Maybe your car has stalled, and the house on the hill is the only building for miles. But is it empty, or is there something waiting?

Leave a comment with your character's name, fandom, any preferences you have, and what brought your character to this haunted location.

The Haunting
A. Ghosts. Creepy, tragic, and possibly violent, they’ve got unfinished business in this world and you’re the unsuspecting victims who have just become the targets for their wrath.
B. Creatures. Unearthly monsters summoned from a hell-dimension or mutations created by a mad scientist, this is their house now, and they are fascinated and hungry.
C. The People in the Walls. Someone—or several someones—have been living in this house. They’re no longer human anymore, and their sanity has been frayed to the very edge. They’ve been surviving on mice and bats until now. But now you're here, and don't you look delicious?
D. The House Itself. Maybe it was built evil, or maybe it became evil after the horrible deeds that were committed in it. The very walls of the house are soaked with blood, and the house is angry, and hungry. It has you now, and it doesn’t plan to let you out.
E. The Cabin in the Woods Experiment. None of this is natural phenomena. You don’t know it yet, but you’re part of a larger experiment. You’re the rats in the maze, and the scientists are observing—and toying with—your every move.
F. Choose your own horror movie plot!

[Since Lambert had warned her that the keep they were to survey was rumored to be haunted, Thiirien had brought a quiver of silver arrows and a pair of enchanted daggers, in case they had to fight anything spectral. After all, she's not very experienced with such, but she knows enough not to try to hit a ghost with regular steel.

She's kept to her light armor, hair bound back in a tidy bun, and has a couple scrolls tucked into her belt. Hopefully, she won't need to use them; they're spells she doesn't have firsthand experience with.

All this is readily visible as she approaches Lambert at their appointed meeting spot, in front of the castle.]

Nn..? [Something out of the corner of her eye catches her attention, black little wings twitching up on her back to showcase that she was startled, but not nervous or worried. Ever since arriving in her new safehouse ( which she found kind of spooky ), Sae has felt a sort of weird energy following her around and usually disappearing before she could catch a glimpse of what it was. The owners of the house were never around as they often left the country on business-related issues. This was something that she was alright with, although it bummed her out that she was going to be on her own. When it came down to it, she could take care of herself, of course- The couple had even been nice enough to lend her one of their credit cards for her to use for whatever she might need while they were gone, giving her free range of the manor.]

Uuu.. [Her wings rustle behind her back, blood-red peering around curiously. A curious sound leaves her lips, almost sounding like that of a bird. She hops forward, setting her cup of water down on the kitchen counter. Was she finally going to meet this elusive roommate of hers!? In the past she caught glimpses of this ghost; an arm disappearing around a corner of the hallway, the ends of a shirt, and one time she even saw the silhouette of a man's back but it always vanished before she could properly make out features.]

[ Being back at Ravenscar brings... well, unpleasant memories to say the least. Though he's surprised it's been shut down and cleared out so fast. Which is the exact reason why he's there. John Constantine may not find his time in the nutter house very favorably, but, it is part of his past. Best he puts it down to bed or Hell. Whichever one it belongs to.
