[They’re just a couple of weeks out from their wedding, and Richie is fucking loaded with material already. Like, enough material that he could write another special that’s all about his beautiful wedding and the series of disasters leading up to it. Case in point:]

Things with Iris had fizzled out before they'd even really gotten started, and Barry had gone to his new friend for comfort. He fell for Kara faster than he'd fallen for anyone, and maybe it was because for once he wasn't pining for Iris. By the time the invasion came they were already together, and it felt like it was meant to be. But then, he'd thought that about himself and Iris too, so he was a little wary in the back of his mind.

But then everything gets worse with Grodd and Savitar, and whatever Kara's got going on, and the Music Meister gives them an ultimatum. No one is coming to save them though except...well, them, and Barry crawls over to her after they've been shot, reaching for her hand.

"I know this is probably the worst timing, but I need to ask...will you marry me, Kara Danvers? I love you, and I couldn't imagine living the rest of my life without you, if it's the next few minutes or years from now."
