[Have mercy on his old soul, Alisaie. He's green when it comes to the adventures the Scions are a part of. Not to mention, he's lost the vast reservoirs the tower afforded him at his will.

So he might have overdone it, once or twice, as he tried to figure out how much was too little and how much was too much to leave him debilitated like this. It's a Work In Progress.

More than anything, however, he's grateful she's taking the time to train him. He would be oblivious, though, not to see the wide grin on her face as she outpaced him nearly every step of the way. It kindles his competitive spirit, a buried thing that's come back to him like his old new body has.

[ for that is something they certainly have in common. alisaie's competitive spirit is legendary, and she often does not look before she leaps, especially where matters of the heart are concerned, or when she's being prideful, showing off. she does not take defeat well, and she would move mountains to win a competition, any of her level-headedness immediately dissolving in the face of a contest.

so she SUPPOSES... she can't blame him for pushing himself a bit too much. she's still happy to rib him for it, however, especially considering she is still very much on her feet. ]
