star☆crossed L O V E R S When two people come together in a relationship, it's a beautiful thing. What can be wrong with love, right? Right? Except when the union is completely and totally wrong, for whatever reason. Then things can get a little messy. How To Play 1. Comment with your character, listing their name, canon, etc, along with any preferences. 2. Comment around to others, using the RNG to determine the scenario. It doesn't have to be a lovey-dovey relationship, obviously. There can be hate, sorrow, lust, whatever. 3. Thread! Have fun! Do things! Scenarios 1. Warring Factions: You belong to rival organizations, armies, clubs, etc. Whatever it is, you're not on the same team. 2. Soldiers on the Battlefield: Or maybe you are on the same side, but this is the wrong time and the wrong place. Plus, attachments cause distractions. 3. Bodyguard and the Guarded: Just like the movie with Kevin Costner! One of you has been hired to protect the other for some reason, and feelings are starting to grow. Are you a professional and cut things off, or do you give in? 4. Prince/ss and Knight: Similar to the above, but with a whole 'nother level of wrong...one of you is royal. Courtly love is okay; still, don't forget your place. 5. Enemies: This vendetta is personal, and you totally hate this person! Don't you? Perhaps you're maybe just rivals, or something as serious as superhero and villain. 6. Family: The ultimate taboo. This person is related to you, so there's no way you should indulge this desire, even if it's the most pure love there ever was. 7. Age Difference: The years between you should keep you both at bay, but it's easier said than done. 8. Teacher/Student: Teachers and students have a unique bond, and to corrupt it is a dangerous thing. Will you dare to act on emotions that could put you both in a destructive place? 9. Already Spoken For: One or both of you are already involved with someone else, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Just know that you can't have your cake and eat it, too. 10. Not Compatible: Your personalities or jobs make it so it's hard for you to be together. 11. Not Compatible...in Another Way: You're both different species, which means you're either afraid to take your relationship to a physical level or you can't because of differences in biologies. 12. Not Ready for Love: You took a vow (or celibacy, of chastity, of dedication), you're married to your work, or you just don't want to be involved with anyone. Too bad! 13. Rich and Poor: One of you has the money while the other is from more modest means. Can the 1% and the 99% ever be bedfellows, literally? 14. Hurt Before: Your heart has been broken, and maybe there's been no time to heal. But here you are. 15. WILDCARD

Warring Factions: Angels and Demons

Unlike most of his "brethren" Sabo enjoyed visiting earth and readily took advantage of any opportunity to do so. Humans were just so very fascinating. So full of extremes and contradictions, never simple, always changing and so far the only predicable thing about them was that they were entirely unpredictable. They made the effort of hiding his wings, and lets not even go into trouble he had with his halo because no, entirely worth it.

Of course it wasn't only their general indifferens towards the human race and everything connected to them that kept most other Angels away from earth. The Demon presence was still mostly to blame for that. While Angels were supposed to be aloof and above such petty things as emotions (two things which so far Sabo failed spectacularly at) and only influencing humanity in small, subtle ways, Demons were apparently a lot more hands on in their work. This meant a visit to earth had an above average chance of including a Demon encounter, and if anyone had backup it most likely wouldn't be you. Sabo had occasionally considered pointing out that if they increased their influence on earth the numbers wouldn't be as heavily skewed in the Demons favour but so far he didn't think it would be very well received.

Besides, it wasn't as if he were particularly worried about encountering a Demon, or even two. He might have been young but he could more than hold his own, and experience had taught him that Demons had a habit of underestimating him, which tended to work to his advantage. Not that pointing this out did him any good when faced with a lecture of the Dangers of Earth. Instead they simply shook their heads at him in reproval and called him reckless.

Which... Well... Considering he'd just failed to notice the presence of a very high ranking Demon until he'd practically tripped over him they might not have been entirely wrong about.

It wasn't one he'd ever met before but Sabo still knew who he was. The one they called the Ruler of Pain, a somewhat dramatic title though it certainly got its point across. As one of a small number capable of striking true terror into the hearts of his fellow Angels he was usually only talked about in hushed whispers in a way that made him seem almost Behemoth-like to those, like Sabo, who'd never had the bad luck to encounter him. Which, along with the shock, might at least go some way towards explaining why the first words to come out of Sabo's mouth were:

"Huh. I always though you'd be taller."

[This hadn't been the oddest job that Zero had taken on. It'd been a job she hadn't expected - that was for certain - but when she was told 'guard a princess' and offered enough money for it, she accepted. They didn't exactly ask for qualifications, after all, and she needed money to continue on her quest, considering she was hardly willing to go back to the slums.

That, and Dito would bitch about it if they were completely slumming it. So here she was. Not that she hadn't forced him to go seek work, too, but not many places were willing to hire a smug-faced little shit. Hmph. And Mikhail was...a dragon. That was the end of with that.

Whatever. She had to focus on the now. They were about ready to head off, considering 'Your Highness' was apparently getting engaged somewhere and she was to escort her. She threw open the doors to her bedroom, giving her a simple stare with her one good eye.]

Well. We're ready to head off, Princess.

[She said that so flatly that it was almost impressive.]

Are you ready to go? You've had enough time to prepare.

[Obviously. She'd only been waiting all morning rocking back and forth on her ass...]
