How to play:
1. Toplevel your character. Indicate details, prefs, etc. Starters optional, but would be lovely.
2. Reply to others. Mingle with actual family members. AU into other families.
Take in strays or put yourself up for adoption. Pick a fight with other families.
Sky's the limit for shenanigans. Live your best life!
3. Lather, rise, repeat.
4. Have fun and be excellent to each other!

It hadn't been any question when Ben had come asking for help because the Lannisers were holding Jane hostage in King's Landing, keeping her from her family and against her will. He'd even joked when Jon joined Ben that he'd be happy to set the two up once they saved her, as thanks for saving her, and while Jon had smiled, he also wasn't planning to take Ben up on the proposition. He didn't need Jane Skywalker as the price for saving her. He'd do it because they were using her as leverage and a tool against the Skywalkers as a way to keep them in their place, at least according to Cersei. Jon had easily gathered men and answered Ben's request for help marching South. Just seeing her safe was enough for Jon, though Ben had on occasion teased that he could see the two of them getting alone late at night after strategy had turned to relaxing before another long day at war. They were a strong force together, cutting their way through Lannister forces as they moved South. But then they'd hit that one snag, needing to get through the Riverlands and House Frey and things had become a little more complicated for the Skywalkers, new pair included because Ben had gone and married someone who was also pregnant. Someone he'd wanted to keep by his side despite the war raging on, considering she was fierce enough to be in it in the first place when they'd met.

Jon's pretty sure by now everyone had heard of the massacre of the Frey House. A wedding, planned to smooth relations between one of Ben's men and Walder's daughters, had gone bad when Walder and his men had tried to kill Ben and everyone with him. Tried. Between Ben and Jon catching on, they'd been able to make it out with only a few of their men dying and nearly all of Walder's men slaughtered instead. Of course, to serve the Lanniser agenda, that's not exactly the tale being spread like wildfire along the South though. Word was an Island Stark, wild as he was vicious, was helping Ben Skywalker in his bloodbath of the South. Mad, the pair of them, and of course, because some men had heard him joking about it late at night, there's the tail end that Ben had promised the vicious Islander his sister as prize once they were able to take King's Landing and return her to her family. Because when was the truth ever actually spread the way it should be. That they were the victims turning the tide at House Frey, that they were only doing this to save Jane from the lions. And most importantly of all, that Jon wasn't some vicious wild animal about to cart Jane away the moment she was rescued.

They were close enough to King's Landing that Jon and Ben had planned out an escape for Jane, not that they'd been able to get word to her. He'd slip into King's Landing while Ben distracted the Lannisers. And of course, since everyone knew Jon Stark was helping Ben, he couldn't exactly use that name. It was Ben's idea to use Aegon Snow. Someone no one had heard of, and a bastard to boot. Who would look twice at a bastard slipping through the shadows, after all. But he never made ti far enough to get to King's Landing. Stopping at an inn, he catches sight of someone who looks very much like the drawing Ben had shown him of Jane, enough that he got distracted when her escort was confronted by a knight and she slipped out the back. He's not liking the direction she's going, and she has enough of a head start on him that he can't help but give chase after her, taking just enough time to disrupt the tracks so people can't quite come after them either. Because he didn't really like the looks of the man she'd been with.
