Considering that for a moment, she shakes her head a little. "Nah, I think I'm good."

"That'll be the check then," she said, waving at a waitress.

"So did the burger live up to the hype?"

"Oh definitely! I might have to move here just for that," she teases, finishing off her drink as well.

She laughed as the waitress dropped the check into their table.

"Well, you wouldn't be the first to do that," she replied.

"Well, then I feel less guilty about it." She giggled again, watching as the check was placed down.

"You sure you don't want me to help?"

She nodded, decisively.

"My treat, absolutely. Such an experience should be total, right?"

"I guess so," she replies, still feeling just a bit bad. "But just know, when you visit Bayville, I'm totally spoiling you."

Even if she has to borrow a bit of money from Jean or something.

"I'll do my best to not say the exact same things when it's my turn," she replied.

She giggled. "Good. But don't worry, I'll remind you if you do."

"I'd expect nothing less," she replied, fishing in her purse for her wallet, counting out the amount plus a 20% tip. Place like this, even if it wasn't just the right thing, you invested in the next time.

"We're going to end up a big ouroboros of favors, aren't we?"

"Yeah, probably. But that sounds pretty normal for friends, right?"

"Probably," she responded, sliding out of her seat, holding a hand to her chest with a feigned moment of hauteur. "At least when you're as amazing as we are together."

She laughed, lightly nudging Barbara as they headed out of the restaurant. "Yeah, we are pretty amazing, huh?"
