[ It's not hard to get into bed with Jill in a way that's platonic, although she is a bit picky about it. If there's only one bed, why sleep on the ground when someone can lay on the other side of the bed? It's just silly.

They're out hunting a monster now -- or, were. It's been terrorizing the town for a while now and earned a decent bounty on its head in the process. While Jill is less concerned about the latter, it's certainly an incentive. The only thing is the timing. They've traveled long and it's late and the darkness cloaking the forest is sure to only make the trek to its lair more difficult, so she's opted to drag the other woman to what seems to be an abandoned farmhouse. Perhaps the bed is dusty and old within it, but she's got a sleeping bag.

Once they've checked the place thoroughly, Jill's spread the sleeping bag atop it and rolled over to the wall. Being a foot shorter and about half Mel's weight, at least Jill can manage laying down comfortably.

She gives the other side a pat. ]

( alright, it's like... late as hell. devils must work on a entirely different schedule because in azul's own room he can hear scuffling, a few voices going back and forth that he's able to indicate as one belonging to the ever energetic quincy, and the other belongs to the dying, but apathetic verine. individually, they both have skills that azul can benefit from, be it making them handle his dirty work or sending them out on errands for things he want (but doesn't need) — whatever, they have to listen to him because they're bound by a contract. with great power comes great responsibility, so while having the chance to utilize them as much as he wants.. they have their faults that he has to deal with.

this happens to be one of them. he's starting to think that maybe there's a reason why he doesn't request something from them at the same time, because the outcome seems like it won't work in azul's favor. he has school, he's still a teenager, he has classes to be at in the morning so why are they even up? do they have classes? what else can these jesters do other than give azul a run for his money?

well, staying in his room isn't going to handle this problem, so give him about ten minutes to walk all the way to the room that the two happen to share — azul WILL be putting them in separate spots from now on. with the voices evident on the other side, azul's intentions to interrupt them are now a goal of his as his knuckles rap against the wood of the door — with that done, he wastes no time in using that same hand to grab the knob, turning it left to push the door open. brows knit together, his eyes squint at the bright lights as he takes his magical pen out from the pocket of the nightgown (it's kind of like the mermaid princess' rags when appearing on land) he's wearing, and he points the jeweled tip towards the two boys inside —

he's not sure what they're doing, and he doesn't have his glasses on either to make out their appearances in full. you know, people with glasses problems, but he's quick to call a spell under his breath as a nice sized, circular shape of water begins to form above their heads — )

It's 12:06PM. Go. To. Bed!

( someone sounds annoyed and cranky, of course with that, there goes the pile of water that just drops down on them both. maybe they dodged it, or maybe they're taking their L, either way, azul wants them to go the fuck to sleep! )

[Ten is full. He took care of securing a meal earlier in the night, and topped it off with Lin not so long ago. As usual, after feeding, Lin gave him access to his body, and they went through their usual routine until all there was to do is rest.

The sun is about to come up and Ten is ready to sleep, but Lin still hasn't woken up, but he'll allow him to stay in his bed just this once. There were so many others in the house that he could rest in, but it's a conversation they have often and it goes nowhere. Mostly because Lin is as cute as he is disobedient. Not the best combination for Ten's sanity, but clearly enough to tolerate him in his bed.]

If you don't leave before the sun comes up, you have to stay until sundown.

[He whispers quietly, touching Lin's hair, not caring one way or the other if he's even awake to hear. Ten just lies beside him, still very naked, but clean, while he stares at him in silence.]
