Noriko had been having a good month. She was still living at the school, still working at the coffeeshop, had gotten an internship in the city, even. Things had been alright until the uneasy peace had been shattered.

Specifically with an asp baton aimed at her head. Scalding hot coffee was not a great defense weapon at range, and Noriko had gone down hard, kicking and screaming and cursing while the shop owner had tried to break it up and get help. Only two minutes ago on her break she'd pulled out her cell to send Clark a selfie with a cute little filter, meant to at least kind of brighten his day. The long-distance relationship thing was murky, but they were working it out.

Now she was in the back of an ambulance trying not to move and dealing with a broken rib and leg. She really wanted her boyfriend now.

[It all happened so fast that Morgiana never had any time to process. One minute she was home, fighting with her friends, and the next thing she knew she was being sucked into a vortex of swirling black energy, her name being cried out by Alibaba and Aladdin as everything went black as she fell into unconsciousness. When she woke up it was to an unfamiliar place, with unfamiliar people as she laid on a bed, feeling drained and weaker than usual- it also didn't help that she didn't understand a word these people said and they didn't understand her. Panicked beyond belief, in pain from various injuries, the fanalis had wrecked the hospital room she was in and hurt nurses and doctors in her attempt to flee. It took close to almost 10 security guards to hold her down to stop her from leaving. Everything else that happened after was almost like a blur to Morgiana. South Korean police were frustrated and baffled when they couldn't find any information on this foreign girl or where she came from. With no information, no answers from her, she was reluctantly placed under the care of a government official until they could figure out what to do with her.]

[She lifts her eyes up from the book on her lap, the young woman taking the moment to peer at the goblin with unnerving blood-red eyes, hands shifting to adjust the position of the wheelchair she was using. A couple of months had passed by since her sudden arrival in South Korea- She was still living with the government official, and her Korean had gotten progressively better since she started learning the language. Morgiana was glad that she was able to understand the natives, at the very least.] Happy to see you again.

[The only way to describe her relationship with this mysterious man was.. strange. Morgiana knew he was far from human; she could sense it. And after having displayed her supernatural strength at one point to Kim Shin, he found out she was something 'not quite human' as well. It seemed to frustrate him that he couldn't figure out just what she was, how unwilling she was to speak further on the matter. Her limited knowledge of Korean also didn't help situations and got her into trouble sometimes. It wasn't like she was trying to be difficult- Not even Morgiana knew herself! she knew she was a fanalis and back home, they were amongst the strongest tribe in her world. Morgiana knew she and her other tribe members were descendants from some creature but had no more information to go on.

A hand tucks some red locks behind her ears, the delicate woman blinking up at him curiously. He was curious about her and she was curious about him but Morgiana knew they tended to circle around each other more often than not - was she attracted to him? she wasn't really sure. It felt like attraction, but she was very shy and didn't dare try to do anything too intimate with him.]

Have to use the wheelchair again.. [She grumbles a little as she says this, glaring down at her body with frustration, hating how weak and useless she felt. Ever since arriving in this world, Morgiana found out that it had brought about consequences. Sometimes her body would seize up with debilitating pain if she strained herself too much, forcing the poor woman to use the assistance of a wheelchair. What little magoi she had was almost non-existent now. Her supernatural strength also seemed to have suffered greatly. It was possible that the gods of this world disapproved of her appearance and was punishing her for it. Once again these questions would undoubtedly go unanswered and it bothered her immensely.]
