Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful.

But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner.

Like you're doing now.

Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached...

[Open to castmates & cross-canon. I prefer gen + friendship, fluffy stuff, etc... This might be a good way to do trust-building between friends. Not opposed to shipping with him, though please ask first. M/M + M/F okay; slightly-more detailed prefs here. Can work with original game or Advent Children, though I'm not too familiar with Dirge of Cerberus.]

[Set-up/plot ideas: Team can be settling into an inn after a long journey, and/or after a hard battle? They need to rest, relax, and get cleaned up. A hot soak sounds really good right about now. Or maybe the only bathing option in town is a public bath house? Vincent would try going late at night, hoping no one else is around. Depending how you want to play it, Vincent is either extremely reluctant (arm is monsterous) - or unable (arm is amputated and the gauntlet is a prosthetic) - to remove his gauntlet, so he'll need some help to properly wash (and dry) his hair? (or his arm can be completely normal, if you'd prefer, but he still might need a bit of help anyway (lol)]
