[ Nevermind that a lot of these feelings are coming on quite strong. Something in the air, perhaps? Or maybe Otonashi is prone to forced romances in the afterlife, hahaha... ]

[Friends. That did sounds nice. So was he feeling friendship? It's been such a long time that he didn't exactly understand it.

Noda's not sure how to answer to Otonashi, though...]

...Hn. [He rubs at his arm shyly, fumbling around for what he should be doing.]

[ He looks down at the can of coffee, then back up at Noda. Without thinking, the takes a sip, though this time he lingers on it for a little longer. Those bright eyes are right back on Noda just a second later. ]

Ano, do you... want to sit with me at lunch sometime? [ Totally not what he wanted to ask, but it works. ]

[And as Otonashi takes that sip, Noda glances towards his direction. The indirect kiss...! He looks away right as Otonashi looks back up to him, not wanting to be caught staring at the other.]

L-lunch?! [He clears his voice, as attempt to calm himself down.]

...W...why not. [...] Sure.

[ He wastes no time in clasping Noda's hand and standing up. He clearly wants to do this now, not "sometime." ]

It'll be nice. And... ah, what did you think of the coffee? It's not bad, right?

[And when Noda finds the two holding each other's hands he lets a yelp out, like boiled water splashed onto his hand. It just took him by surprise, is all. He has a bewildered look on his blushing face, staring at his hand being held by Otonashi's.

For a moment, he doesn't hear the redhead's words as he's blown away to his own world.]

[And then he starts heading his way towards the cafeteria, forgetting to let go of Otonashi's hand as he rushes off.]

[ The redhead stumbles forward, struggling to stay upright as Noda drags him along. Oh Noda, Otonashi doesn't have the stamina and fierce enthusiasm that you do. ]
