O U T O N T H E T O W N
Everyone needs to let loose once in a while; so, hope you called ahead - dinner, drinks, and something after - whatever, this evening's going to be a big one. Call that Uber, book that table, make sure you brought cash to slip the doorman,
1. Restaurant:
You better have fucking booked Dorsia, else it's over.
But for real, you're at a fancy restaurant with your main squeeze (or arch enemy, or bff, or some random you don't know, your vibe's your vibe, man), order food, do coke in the bathroom, it's up to you, but don't cock up the reservation.
2. Predrinks:
Code for: let's see how drunk we can get at your/my apartment before we hit up dinner.
3. Uber driver, be my shrink for the hour:
Who takes taxis nowadays though? Uber has aux cables and that spotify app thing, so you're playing something really hectic like Taylor Swift while you're on the road. Did you drop that pin in the right place though? Do you even know where the club is? Yeah, good luck buddy, you'll need it. Just hope your driver has a smidgeon of street smart so you don't end up in the suburbs (gasp).
4. The Bar:
Who goes to clubs before 1am? Clearly not you, because you're now at a bar, and it's cool, you're seeing double, and it's great. Some hapless fuck is probably singing karaoke over there, and wow, that sucks, luckily you have (insert name) with you to bring the mood back up to speed.
5. The Club:
Can't feel your face? Yeah your problem so stop telling everyone. Anywho, you're at some nightclub and it's kind of blurry, but you've got so-and-so with you so that's okay, and you're screeching Rihanna (who better have your money? Careful who you direct that at bruh) while you wait in the line, and life is kind of grand right now, and oh hey, it's moving, you're inside and shit fuckity fuck it's loud but strobe lights, but alcohol, but hey-- so-and-so is looking pretty decent right now right? Only took you six doubles and a whiskey special.
6. Afterpartyy:
Gets two 'y's. Go do coke off someone's coffee table, yeahhh. Try to sober up, ugh christ. Do more coke to try to sober up. Give up. Get drunk again. Dance on their sofa, fuck up their fridge. Break something valuable. Drunk dial your entire contacts list. Cry. Drink more. Make out with someone. Shots. Amateur laptop DJ time/fight for your right to the playlist. Do more coke. Make out with someone else. Drink too much. Pass out. Wake up in the suburbs, fuck.
7. The Next Morning:
Call a shameful uber for your shameful self. Maybe weep a bit in the back of the uber, maybe pass back out. Thank fuck your friends know where you live and could drop a pin for you. Maybe so-and-so from last night needs to catch a lift with you. Shit, awks. You just wanted to listen to Drake and sulk. So much for that plan. Time to make small talk with last night's hook up. Life/choices, whatever.
