[ happy to have an aerith! i didn't really have anything in particular in mind. if we went with 5, we could definitely go serious or comical, like aerith trying to covertly monitor the turks monitoring her, or just trying to figure out what to get so-and-so for their birthday? 7 could easily just be something like leslie takes a shine to her after what transpires with corneo and they're seen getting coffee often. ]

"Oh there you are!" Aerith said, chirpily as she bounced up the guy in the hat. "I thought you'd gotten lost."

It was Leslie, right?

Under her breath she added, "Please just play along."

Her green eyes slid subtly in the direction of the bald guy in the suit who had just ducked behind a cart stall. Rude might just be keeping tabs. Still, Shinra was being more active lately and she didn't like the fact that she was seeing the Turks more. Something was going on.

Aerith wished she could have latched onto someone less conspicuous than one of Don Corneo's people, but it was what it was. And she didn't get the vile, creepy aura off of Leslie that she got off of his other goons.

A day off was a rare thing lately. After a couple of the guys had quit, Leslie, eager for the money and the intel, had picked up a lot of the slack. So to find himself on a relatively calm day with a little time to relax was as good as it was suspicious. He wasn't exactly surprised then, when trouble found him on his way to his favorite coffee place, although the shape it came in wasn't one he would have expected at all.

Leslie was smart enough not to immediately start looking around them when the girl murmured that quiet plea to him. He couldn't remember her name, but that pink dress was unmistakable in a place like this--and apparently trouble found her even more easily than it did him. Of course, he could play along a little more willingly if he really wanted to help, like slipping an arm around her or at least linking arms, but if she was stupid enough to knock on the don's door, who knew what other shit she could get herself into. Certainly nothing he'd want to really get mixed up in any more than he now already was.

"Figured I'd just meet you there," he said, cool and calm, though he did throw her an evaluating look, as if she might explain anything at all while they walk.
