After only a few hours she had woken, feeling fairly refreshed and not at all able to drift back to sleep. But what he does notice is that there is distress, discomfort, and restlessness. THese dreams which his friend is having, must not be pleasant ones. And that is something which the assassin is all too familiar and far too empathetic with. He retreats back to the bed and reaches to the side to snatch a strewn aside pillow. Perching himself on the side of the bed, he gently reaches his palm under the back of Dante's neck, cupping it and lifting his slowly in order to slide the pillow under. Simultaneously, he reaches down, dragging the silk sheets up against the other's prone body, covering him, keeping him warm.
There is a pang of guilt which seers through him, as he considers waking Dante from his restless slumber but--he also realizes that even in nightmares, the soul was making an effort to communicate with the gods. The knowledge he could gain, even in terror, could be more beneficial to Bayek's own personal piece of mind.
So instead, the assassin merely stays by his side, his hand now moving to stroke at the younger's hair, a soothing, constant presence. There's a hum to his tone as he speaks. ]
