First Kiss: Is there anything sweeter?

First Date: Are you super awkward and nervous or getting on like a house on fire?

First Meeting: Dropped your groceries? Bump into them on the subway? Party? Fender bender? The options are endless!

First Anniversary: You've made it an entire year without killing one another! Time to break open the bubbly.

[ this is nice. being like this. being like him. even if a part of diana wonders if bruce's mind is wandering. there were so many other things that they should be worrying about right now. finishing getting their team together. continuing the fight. mia's training (diana was honestly a bit impressed that bruce had taken the girl in. but she had seen the way the two were around each other, it was sweet. it made her think they needed one another).

right now they're in diana's apartment in paris. bruce had finally taken her up on the date. it had been nice. she had shown him her work and then taken him to some of her favourite places in the city, some off the radar. they've already finished a bottle of wine and have started on a second one. they're seated on diana's couch and they're so close. so close but not close enough. diana doesn't want to push too much, she doesn't want to accidently push bruce away but at the same time pushing somewhat is what had got them here.

so instead of asking him if he enjoyed the wine, she leans closer, wraps his arms around his neck and pulls him in for a kiss. ]

[ bruce's mind was always on something else along with what he was doing. the man was a master at paying attention to two lives at once. mia, the team, finding out who and what lex had contacted. it all rumbled in the back of his mind as they walked around paris and she showed him the sites. it was ... definitely different from gotham.

he'd seen paris before. it just felt different now.

he turns his head to find diana's mouth on his. he's leaning into the exchange, trying to rationalize to himself how bad of an idea this is. diana is far out of his league. they'd need a good cover story as to why bruce wayne and the history preserving diana prince are seeing each other. how they met. lex's party is probably accurate. no one else knows that lex probably invited her because he had found out she was a meta-human.

one hand settles on her hip as he breaks the kiss. ]
