Miyoung's been searching for someone. That's why she's been out and about, dropping through open windows into random houses, effectively trespassing, and when they're not there, she moves onto the next location.

The problem is that she's been doing this for way too long and she's exhausted. By the time she lands herself into Mirai's house, the first thing she does is hug Mirai as if she's a body pillow and then collapse on the floor, falling asleep... with Mirai in tow.

More exactly, it's Reverie's house, but that detail isn't really important right now. What is important is that somebody came in the room she was using for the time being unexpectedly. Was this girl another Mahou? Were they peaceful or rowdy? You never knew these days. She was ready to fight if necessary until she was... hugged instead?

Why was she being hugged like this? And did she fall asleep?! Mirai was always happy to receive hugs, but this was definitely a weird situation. Whatever guard she had up instantly fell as she glanced to the sleeping girl clinging onto her.]

U-Uhm... E-Excuse me..?

[She was asleep... Do you really think she was going to answer, Mirai? She thought about waking her up, but looking to the girl, she seemed really exhausted. She didn't have the heart to wake her up. She will, however, at least adjust them so that the girl is a bit more comfortable. She quietly tried to adjust to sitting against the way, laying the girl's head on her lap if she'll let her.

It wasn't the most comfortable position to be in, but she wasn't really all that concerned about herself. She would actually get a pillow from the bed if she could, but that was too far away.]

I hope you sleep soundly. [Said lightly with a slight smile, moving her hair out her face lightly. The question now is... what should she do? She didn't want to move too much and wake her. Eventually she found herself nodding off herself.]

[ Miyoung's position gets easily adjusted so that her head is on Mirai's lap and sleeps peacefully... for about ten minutes. It's unfortunate for Mirai that if she starts dozing off right at this moment, Miyoung will wake with a banshee's scream. ]

[She wasn't quite asleep yet, but it definitely woke her up. With a screech of her own, she tried not to flail too much.]

A-Ah! A-Are you okay?!

[acharnement]

[ Miyoung looks up. Thankfully, she didn't roll off Mirai's lap pillow just yet and just stares up at her. ]

Are you like... the goddess of sleep...?

[ ... ]

Your lap is sooo comfortable.

[She was about to ask what she meant, but a small laugh came out instead.]

I-Is it? I'm glad that I could be of help then. If you'd like, you can use the bed if that's more comfortable.

[Maybe... she shouldn't be.... offering strangers to sleep in her room like this...? Nah, it's probably fine.]

[ Yeah, it's fine. What could possibly go wrong? Everything.

Miyoung blinks slowly, still staring up at Mirai with wide eyes. ]

You sure? Beds are personal spaces and I wouldn't want to stink it up.

[Mirai just wants to make people happy.]

Sure. I mean... I don't know who you are or why you're here but... you look like you're exhausted... so...

[ She seems like a sweet girl and honestly, she kinda reminds her of someone... and she doesn't like that. Miyoung continues her stare, but in total silence for ten seconds before speaking up again. ]

I don't mean to be too blunt, but doing that to strangers usually warrants some kind of attempted murder.

H-Huh?! I... I don't want to fight if I don't have to!

[But she will if she has to.]

Huh... so you can fight?

[ That's what she's getting from this--and she's still using her as a lap pillow. She just wants more comfort, which drives her to say: ]

Tell me aaall about it. What do you do? To be honest, I thought you were a just a scrawny girl.

[She's awake now and should really move away, but she'll just leave the girl there for now.]

I guess that puts me at an advantage if people underestimate me then. [A joke... Or is it? Probably.] I'm a Mahou who fights to protect innocent lives.

[Part of her wonders if she should admit that to someone she just met, but considering the rise in Mahou these days, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to say it.]

... And I have to find a way... to save my world. [For a brief moment, there's a sad expression before realizing it and changing her tune.] But that's okay! I know I'll get back home eventually. Everyone is counting on me!

[Everyone... Everyone is dead, Mirai. She'll keep denying that though.]

[ Miyoung remains dead silent as she listens... and listens... and listens... until-- ]

Am I... in a LARP setting?

[She... has no idea what that is.]

[ She wonders if Mirai is playing dumb, but she also knows that she herself has been involved in some fantastical stuff, so... honestly, maybe? She's right?? And not LARPing?? ]

Never mind. So, you're a magical girl? One who protects innocent lives, huh...

That's right! [With that enthusiasm, she comes off as genuine.] Times have been dangerous and this world is in danger. I'll do everything I can to help.

[Until she finds a way back home... which is unlikely.]

[ Miyoung knows, but she wonders if Mirai does.

She tilts her head a little, expectant of her answer. ]

Well... [Glancing towards the window for a moment.] I guess it's not as bad here, but creatures that want to destroy us.

[She's not so sure how much she should really talk about.]

Creatures? I thought you were gonna talk about loopy Concepts.

[ Hm. They both start with C, but it's not like Miyoung would compare metaphysical things with destructive creatures. She can kinda see it, yet not. Her brows furrow a bit, thinking... ]

Anyway, if there are creatures and stuff, I'm down for beating them up!

Mmm... I guess they're more like monsters to me, but I don't really think that's a good way to label them either. [But that next part catches her off guard.] Are you capable of fighting then?

[That would make sense given what she knows thus far.]

If nothing else, I'd just like it if you were safe and sound. [But she'll definitely take the extra help]

I eat bad guys for breakfast.

[ Her friends may call her a gangster boss queen as a joke, but she thinks she's more than capable of beating people down when she wanted to. Though she says this with a smile while using Mirai's thighs as a lap pillow... so she considered herself as the winner anyway. ]
