[ Futaba really isn’t one to be immediately touchy-feely, but she’s on cloud nine right now from the combination of being gifted the Featherman figures of her dreams by her #1 Absolute Favorite Person and managing to make it all the way to Leblanc by herself in the middle of the night without dying. Naturally, when Akira hugs her back, she’s pretty ecstatic and bounding her way up the stairs while keeping a hold of his arm in no time.

Not even she herself has had time yet to think about what’s going to happen when the subject of going back to the house approaches. She’s far too excited to really be thinking that far ahead.

Finally, Futaba’s long-awaited face-to-mask meeting with the figures happens and she’s abandoned Akira’s arm in favor of clapping her hands on her cheeks as she scurries up to them, peering closely. Squealing that she’d normally be kind of embarrassed to be making in front of anyone else, let alone Akira, is emanating from her and she has the look of a child on Christmas morning in her eyes. ]

Gosh... They’re really beautiful...

[ She’s completely awestruck. She can’t believe he did this and for her, no less. She almost doesn’t want to touch even the box, because she knows exactly how pricey these figures were and the thought of getting any smudgy fingerprints on anything just feels so wrong to her. When Futaba tears her eyes away from the figures to look back up at Akira, it’s pretty clear from how she gazes at him that he’s her hero. ]

[He’s not far behind her as she makes her way up to his living space. He knew she’d already have them in her hands by the time he got there, even if he had run up the stairs after her.

Akira can’t help but let a smile cross his lips when he sees that look in her eyes. He knows already without her even having to say it that she loves them. He’s not sure how her love for them compares to the other ones that she has, but he likes to think she loves the ones he just gave her more.]

The shop I got them from sells hard plastic cases. Ones you can put them in for display or one you can put them in while inside of the box. [Either way, they would be protected.]

We can go out this weekend and get some, if you want. [Yes, another lure to get her out of the house. He has enough money left to easily buy whatever cases she might want. And perhaps another one or two figures. He can’t splurge on buying these things too much, but whenever she looks that happy from something that he gave her, he can’t help but wanting to spoil her rotten.]

But only if you want to go. [He says as he moves over to stand closer to her.]
