The Thirst Trap Meme


 

Set a scene, get the right angle, reveal a little thigh, and snap! A thirst trap is a sexy photo posted on social media to attract attention. It can also refer to a person considered sexy—a social-media crush. Emerging from selfie culture, the well-staged thirst trap is a provocative photo, often with a coy or confident caption, that will trap (attract) thirst (attention, in the form of comments, likes, etc.).

 

Because, really, what’s the point of posting if no one is going to notice?
 

 

How it works:

 

- Post with your character name and fandom in the subject line. Include any prefs or no-no's.

- Comment with a link to an image of your character's very own thirst trap. To be safe, label them accordingly! (i.e., NSFW or not.)

- Tag around! Respond to others! Rate them, judge them, tell them what you wanna do to them.

- Think of this as the marriage between the Hot or Not Meme and the Rate That Ass Meme.

It wasn't your fault! We mess up sometimes but that's us messing up, you know? You didn't even do the messing up, magic did!

[ He takes her hands in his and holds them gently. ]

You have to understand a lot of what I did... torture, execution, I did willingly for the Empire. No magic coerced me. Some of them were probably innocent but it did not matter to me then. Nothing mattered but serving the empire.

[ She smiles and takes his hands. ]

Because that was all they told you! If you really were a person like that, we would never have met you and you wouldn't feel bad about those things. So you're really just a good person that did bad things, and that's okay.

I did something unforgivable, Jester, and that... broke me. I wasn't good enough for them anymore.

And only after I met you all did I start to feel bad about some of the things I had done. Before it wasn't... that much at all.

You are a smart, clever, talented, beautiful woman. You deserve better than me. Someone who is not broken.

You got better, Caleb. You told Essek he could change because you did. It's stupid to say you're not a good person and that you're broken because I look at you and I don't see that.

It's not about deserving. Nobody deserves anything! What about what I want?

I am not... a fairy tale prince. I don't want you hurt when you learn what awful things I've done.

Things I am... probably still capable of doing if the situation calls for it.

I don't want a fairytale prince anymore. I know that the things are not like they are in the books.

You can keep saying that and I'll still like you, Caleb. You do so many nice things.

[ Caleb rested his forehead against hers. ]

I'll remind you all the time! If you say you're bad I'll just go 'but you protect us all the time! You made a hut so we won't be cold! You let Yasha have Frumpkin sometimes when she's sad! You are funny and brave and soooo smart!

Then you never have to be sad or feel like you're a terrible person, because I'll tell you that you're not and I'm the best so you have to listen to me!

[ She giggles at that and then quickly kisses his cheek before she flushes again with a squeak. ]
