The Hunters Meme
You wake up in the middle of an unfamiliar place. You don't know where you are, or how you got there, but there's an unfamiliar sun in the sky and all signs suggest that you're not in Kansas any more. You need to survive; figure out what's going on; and maybe, just maybe, find a way to go home. There's just one problem.
Something is hunting you.
Prompts
1. Consciousness to sarcasm in five seconds. Rise and shine, you've just woken up in the middle of nowhere with no idea how you got there. On the bright side, you're not alone. Get to know your fellow
2. The road to nowhere. Have fun trudging through the woods, empty fields, or an eerie, abandoned town. How long 'til someone notices that it's been daylight for about 48 hours now, or that there's the wrong number of moons in the sky? Maybe you're just in a brand new hemisphere. Fuck. Kiss your worldview goodbye.
3. Cry havoc! The hunters have set their dogs on you. Possibly deformed, alien monstrosity dogs, terrifying, demon hounds, or just plain Jane, tear-your-face-off hunting dogs. Do you run or fight? Work together or leave the others to their fate?
4. On a scale of one to "fucked"-- One of you is injured. Maybe it's fixable, or maybe it's fatal. Does the other choose to stay and help, to leave you for dead, or to put you out of your misery...?
5. Let's hope they last the night. Night has finally fallen. Time to find somewhere to hole up, grab some shuteye, and hope nothing sneaks up on you in the darkness. Sweet dreams.
6. The great escape. Here's your chance - whether by skill or luck, you've found where the hunters have set up camp. Think you've got what it takes to fly an alien ship, to break the curse that's had you running in circles, or maybe just drive this Hills Have Eyes-level crazed killer's stick shift-only beater outta Dodge? Of course that's assuming you live long enough to get there. Maybe you should come up with a plan b, just in case...
7. But you've always been here. Congratulations, you're not dead yet. You've evaded the hunters for long enough that they've apparently assumed you starved, or fell into a swamp, or maybe they've just plain lost interest. And now there's fresh meat on the field - a new batch of game for the hunters. You could help. The question is, will you?
8. Wildcard. Ship with your companion, decide you just gotta bang the hunter to survive? The world is your oyster.

It did take him a few moments to realize he wasn't alone, looking over to the girl nearby and sat contemplating if he should try waking her, poker, or assume she was simply dead.]

Aeryn had no time to gloat, she simply grabbed his arm to haul it over her shoulder and help limp him to shelter. The leg wound didn't look bad, but this was a swamp world, he knew what sort of infections could arise from exposure.
She needed to get him at least patched up so they could get out, back to the others, back to Moya. Crais was still not at ease with the crew there, but it was better than being actively shot at.
"It looks like some sort of structure ahead. We'll stop there. I'll do what I can but I am not a field medic." She'd been a Prowler pilot and a damned good one before he'd taken that life away from her. "Then hopefully the atmospheric interference will clear and we will reach Moya." She grunted and hefted him more on to her shoulder. His wound didn't look too bad, but his quiet was worrisome.

John Crichton | Farscape | OTA
Re: John Crichton | Farscape | OTA
He gazed down again at the armband linking his left forearm to Crichton's right. And the bomb that would surely go off if they tried to sabotage the system. With his armored suit, Scorpius suspected it was likely that he would survive, though he might lose his arm.
And worse than that, Crichton might be damaged or killed. He could not afford that. He desperately needed Crichton to stay alive. The information in his brain was too valuable.
He didn't know yet who had placed them here, or what their motives were. But whatever their game was, Scorpius had no intention of playing by their rules.
But for now, at least, he needed to wait for Crichton to regain consciousness, so they could begin to sort out exactly what was going on here.
I'm already SO EXCITED
Oh god, icons from Scratch N' Sniff. Already off to a great start!

Natasha Romanoff | MCU
Starting with 5, see where it goes?
He knows he's not the only one being chased, but he hasn't caught a glimpse of any of the others yet, just heard rubble being disturbed, doors closed, seen footprints. There's at least five of them, plus the dogs and their masters. He's been actively avoiding the others, sure they can't be trusted-- who would trust anyone in a life or death situation? (Steve, probably. Shut up.)
So he wipes his own footprints in the dust when he finds a two-story house with an intact lock, half-barricaded windows on the first floor, and good slightlines from the second floor. A good place to keep watch during the night, maybe, maybe catch an hour or two of sleep, and, most importantly, scarf down the supplies he raided from a half-empty grocery store a couple hours ago.
