Wizard's Duel

I like big, flashing weird magical contests.

Dimension Hopping for Justice

Sam is an agent of the interdimensional super being Oshtur, a near omnipotent magical entity which stands for goodness and justice. He's often tasked with interfering in the affairs of other planes of existence on Oshtur's behalf. Some ideas related to this-
Pick the worst, darkest moment in a character's canon and see what happens if a wizard from another dimension shows up to try and fix it. Could be cosmically important. Could be talking to someone sad.
Another character has been given the same task or is an agent of chaos sent to stop him.
Sam appearing to take on a villainous or chaotic character.
In something of the reverse, Sam determines a particular problem needs that one person there and summons them.

Snake People

Vauge as that is. Sam is the chosen one of a mysterious snake god (and wants nothing to do with it) and is pursued by numerous serpentine forces that want to use his powers.

Civillian Shenanigans

Sam is, even by superhero standards, very protective of his secret identity and does not share it with even his most trusted friends. Fun drama to be had from someone deducing his identity. Also I don't think I've played anything with him not being Y the Mystic on DW, so regular slice of life or Clark Kent & Lois Lane style attempts to prove he's the magic man would be fun.

I can help with some of these... Lucifer is of course a snake people sometimes (Giant feathered, winged serpent with legs.. very Quetzalcoatl)... his daughter sin (who I also play) takes the form of a naga.

Sounds like my bag! There’s some natural opportunity for clashing immediately, what with Sam’s dedication to order and such.

Some thoughts that leap to mind, feel free to ignore or springboard from them-

Some evil wizard called upon/been granted power by Lucifer or Sin, Sam defeated them and they want to investigate, test or tempt him. Possibly by pretending to be a more ordinary supervillain as a kind of game. Alternative take on that, said evil wizardy type was somehow forcibly using them and so it’s actually a rescue.

Sam has to go to Hell for some reason- could possibly encounter both Lucifer and Sin there, one at a time, as he goes in deeper. I’m picturing some sort of scenario where Sam is safe as long as he doesn’t do something or other (like the classic ‘don’t look back’ or he stays on a particular path).

One of them needs (or wants) Sam’s help, possibly by trickery. Or a situation where they also want to prevent Sam from releasing the serpent he’s the chosen one of. If we’re going full Abrahamic, we could consider it to be Bahamut as a world serpent type thing and awakening it could end the world.

But that’s just me spit balling.

This character is a cryptoherpetologist whose family has dealt with at least two seperate "snake cults" in canon events. (Ironically it was his sister, and he wound up with vastly different threats to his life in his own books.)

Dimension-jumping is also a thing in his canon. His paternal grandmother's real infamous in such circles.

My immediate thoughts are-

Sam has already done some similar work. Specifically, he's the guardian of what he believes is the last remaining colony of Slorgs. Maybe he calls on Alex to assist him.

Sam is undergoing some sort of undesired snakey transformation and turns to Alex to find a solution.

But anything else you can think I'm happy to hear.

Mood.

Having a look at her profile, I've a couple of ideas!

Ishaani is tasked by Dendar with getting Y into one of those endless sleep deals, so she can feed on his mysterious snakey power. A potential idea involved is that she succeeds but Sam does something like drag Ishaani with him into the crazy nightmare world, so they have to work together to avoid being trapped for eternity. Maybe with backstabbing and/or actual respect growing in the process.

Maybe Dendar is the snake entity Sam is already linked to and it's Ishaani's job to convince him to more actively serve her. Through whichever methods Ishaani sees fit.

Or simple one, Sam catches on to some scam of hers and turns up to do his justice schtick.

I happen to have a page of thread ideas that I've been thinking about for a while already.

Outside that I've been thinking he'd make a fantastic Klingon spy or, for anyone who's willing to play a typically-sexual idea with no-to-little detailed smut, just a focus on plot/character stuff, he'd make a great Witcher-style succubus/incubus/wtf ever term you want to use. They have horns and vaguely vitaar-style markings already, and the games only show slender ladies in the role which could make putting him into it a lot of fun.

The Furies

I've always really, really enjoyed the idea of Sariss and two other Dark Jedi/Sith women as functioning as an analogy for the Furies from Greek myth. The two candidates I've always had in mind were Juhani (Knights of the Old Republic) and Asajj Ventress (Clone Wars), but I am very open to others. Basically, this trio of dark, powerful ladies who get into some plotty goodness where they are COMPLETELY underestimated and then get to be the very acme of vengeance. Any other characters that can shoehorn into this would work, too, I am not picky. Hopeful, but not picky.

The Incredibly Awkward Love Story of Shego and Dr. Drakken

Alas, the canon series left them at the start of a very awkward pairing and didn't move on from there. Where does the story go next? That's what I want to know. How do they figure out what a supervillain partnership looks like? How do they open up the puzzle box of ego and snark that is their relationship? What is their idea of a good date? Does Drakken try to bake for her with science and too much fire? All good questions that could be answered with a good helping of comedy, if a willing Shego were around.

New Paths

I like the idea of taking the Stargate program public, with Daniel viewing it as his 'last work' before leaving the SGC. Really just piloting through that idea of what would he want to do next, and how would parting from his friends look like, if it did? Or, alternatively, how can he be convinced to stay? This would work with a lot of his SG teammates and friends.

And Throw Away the Key

The shipping goodness side of what I want to do - lock Daniel Jackson and Vala Mal Doran in a room of some variety, so they can't run away from things, and finally have them hash it out. It would help really get to grips with why Daniel keeps shying away from her (to my mind, 'every woman he gets close to dies/gets a snake in their head, makes a fella skittish') and figuring things out. So he can stop being such a jerk about it and just kiss her already.

Greater Evil

One of those "villain and hero forced to work together because there's a greater evil/villain around who has worse goals than the regular villain" sort of things.

Star-crossed

Many variations on this one. Anything from Batman/Catwoman levels of antagonism/villainy to darker ones with less consent involved, or one or neither knowing what and who the other are and for what side they're on, etc. Basically I'm interested in any degree or variation on this!

Superhero fights/hostage taking

Big dumb flashy fights and Priyana eventually losing and having to sit pretty and being real sore about it.

Here's an idea. The classic 'two heroes meet for the first time and fight' scenario. Sam has been known to be the guy whose job it is to gather heroes for the big cosmic crisis team-ups, and magically conjuring people without warning can understandably lead to fights. Or maybe a third party tricks them into it. As long as there's big stupid fight stuff.

The classics are classics for a reason, and I would be up for it for either of those two reasons, since they could both definitely work (since being tricked by a third party is also pretty classic)! I feel like he's going to end up not being so happy about magic before it's over...

Surprise I'm here now

It's probably a little trashy but it's RP so that's what we're here for. I adore the idea of a set up where Spot (with a little shift of his canon timeline) is the child of Steve Rogers (or Bucky works too) who was kidnapped by HYDRA (for whatever nefarious reasons you like) and was also put on ice. Basically all the 'I thought you were dead' family reunion feels with a side of 'dealing with the child you barely knew/didn't know you had who's also kind of a little shit'.
Also here for clone shenanigans if the above is a little too convoluted (you know, because clones are...less convoluted idk).
Basically I want awkward family feels with MCU Brooklyn boys and this brat, whatever form that takes.

Not who he says he is

A scenario where Spot is secretly the child of a paper owner. The version of this I have in my head has him the child of William Randolph Hearst (with a little smooshing in of broadway version to make Bill his older brother), and he's basically sneaking out every day to go play newsie - this would obviously work best with canonmates but I'm definitely here for assumed CR/AUed in characters

Nine Nine

The boy is a little shit from Brooklyn who, if AUed into modern times, would probably be just a little bit of a criminal, so I'd really love some kind of antagonistic or even mentory-type relationship with a tired Brooklyn 99 Detective who is sick of his shit.

We're family now

Look I just want this child to be loved okay. Spot is a kid with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and no parents around (I play him with a pretty shitty family backstory) so any kind of putting him into a normal family situation for the first time I am here for. Biological parents he was taken from for whatever reason who then come to find him, foster parents who take him in, getting adopted, anything like this I just LOVE.

Not getting away that easily

As an aside to the above, I would also be REALLY interested in villainous or unpleasant characters who might want to play out something a little darker - the bad family past that Spot ran away from coming back to haunt him? Yes please.

Mostly thinking setting this in Classical Greece or Rome because I really want to do vaguely actual history but assuming the gods are around, but modern is fine too. This is basically for a little whatever might be desired, but Ganymede mingling on the streets and what/who he is might not even come up, depending on what the scene is about! Basically, characters from historical settings??
(This is also fine for, like PJO characters in modern times or whatever.)

Myths

Broad again, but, like... Anything during the Trojan war (or hell, Thetis' and Peleus' wedding, before, during or right after the apple mess), since there's a lot there for both Ganymede and other characters! Also, like, during the Gigantomachia or when the gods have fled Olympus during the Typhon fight and Zeus hasn't yet got his sinews back, so you could have Ganymede and someone else who might have not had time/been able to flee trying to creep around and stay out of notice as much as possible?
Or other myths, there's a bunch Ganymede is definitely around for!

Oh No I'm Injured in the Forest, Who Will Help

It's the classic. We all know it. And this guy has a whole castle's surrounding forest to find waylaid travelers or townsfolk in. He's not inherently evil, although he's picked up some bad prejudices against humans recently due to ~tragic betrayal~ that I'd love to see him suffer through pushing past in order to help someone who needs it. Humans would be lovely for this, due to the two-way prejudices possible to explore (bonus points for a human who's afraid of or hates vampires), but all manner of inhuman options are fine too!

Vampire's Bite

Looking for gen/non-sexual versions of the classic trope. Alucard is half-human and doesn't appear to need to feed, or need to feed often, so a scene of him weak enough from an injury that he'd be helped by feeding off a human (or vampire, etc) companion would be wonderful. Also loved would be another vampire feeding from Alucard for similar reasons. Or maybe the other vampire is sad and feeding off someone is comforting, I don't make the rules.

Why Talk It Out When You're Overpowered and Can Hit People

Largely what it says on the tin. Someone who's capable of either putting up a fair fight (totally willing to wriggle Alucard's power levels down a bit for this to work) or actually kicking his butt. I'd prefer this to be the result of an interpersonal argument or misunderstanding that will ultimately be resolved after the...questionable bonding of a literal fistfight. Assumed CR prior to the fight can be happily handwaved and invented as we go along, if you're into that kind of improv, or we can hash it out first.

[Up for an AU'd-into-Netflixvania street punk with a chip on his shoulder the size of his head to go with Prompt #1? With a few backstory tweaks, he makes too good a Tiny Trevor With Mom And Dad Issues to resist throwing at Alucard tbh. I'm thinking maybe Alucard finds him ridiculously outmatched getting thrown around by a stray Night Creature and goes to help because the grinning-in-the-face-of-death stubbornness despite being obviously scared crazy reminds him of someone without quite knowing why?

Otherwise (or honestly even in parallel) I have a few good options for Prompt #3 as well tbh, depending on the flavor you're inclined toward, but we can discuss that more if you'd like!

It's been done again and again. A maiden is in need of rescuing either from big bad or just from some monster or being injured in the woods! Or maybe she's trapped by her status. This guy can be a guard, knight, general, whatever you need to save 'em or just be caught up in the political intrigue, tension, or anything else.

I'm honestly looking for fairytale-esque/fantasy kind of settings for this, can be AU or set in Dissidia-verse. It's a cliche, I know, sue me, but i love this so much okay
