one; hugging. you just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

two; kissing. whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

three; holding hands. it's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. but that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. what the sentiment is, is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

four; carrying. is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? do they want a piggyback ride? or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination.

five; i love you. you've said it before or maybe you haven't but now you have to say it again or for the first time.

seven; massaging. did your significant other have a rough day? did they get hurt? or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. they'll feel wonderful in no time!

eight; flirting. the easiest way to break the ice or maybe you're just an overly flirty person.

nine; cuddling. sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

One would think that with how clumsy Haruka was, she'd get hurt more often, unfortunately for the both of them, in Haruka's attempt to catch herself before falling, she ended up taking the graceful Camus down with her.

She was fine, just a small scrape on her knee. However....

It really wasn't that bad. His ankle was a little banged up but he could surely walk. That, of course, did stop Haruka from apologizing.

[ Fighting against people they know, people they went to school with, certainly has never been an easy task. Ferdinand certainly isn't fond of it, and even he can tell that Dorothea flatly detests it. But it's something that they both have to do for a greater good, so that future generations will know peace and a fair society, one where the strong support and lift the weak instead of ruling over them. It's certainly a goal worth fighting for.

But sometimes, those fights are a lot closer than either of them would care for them to be. Sometimes, the only thing stopping a warrior's axe from finding purchase is the timely intervention of an ally's shield. Sometimes, the only thing that keeps an assassin's poisoned blade from sinking between heavy armor plates is a magical bolt of lightning at the last possible second. And sometimes, the battlefield is such a dark and dismal place that when the dust settles, even after a hard fought victory, all that's left is a feeling of numbness and grief.

Ferdinand's features, normally so full of cheerful optimism, now convey a sense of weariness. Even he, traditionally the first of their class at the Officers Academy to wake up for training in the morning and the last to stop training at night, is simply tired, almost too tired to even speak as he purposefully approaches Dorothea, dropping his spear and his shield to the ground. ]

Please, Dorothea. I... I need to remind myself what is worth fighting for.

[ It's certainly forward of him, albeit in a completely innocent and sincere way, to put his arms around her as he does. But he needs that reassurance that she's safe, that they both made it through this fight together, just as they have through so many others. ]

[So when your sort-of? Partner? Tells you there's space in her bed while you're stateside with a complimentary selfie, it doesn't seem so strange to Eames to expect more time in bed together. Maybe his expectations are skewed — when it's just him and Arthur, they spend a lot of time in bed — but for this past week he's been here, he's not even sure if Ariadne's slept much at all. Eames is pretty sure she'd waste away if he wasn't here keeping her fed, that's for sure.]
