The Long Lost Family Meme

Who's that at the door? Could it be your long lost brother? Your daughter? But you were never even pregnant!
Whomever it is, they're your family now and it's time to get reacquainted!
The person who's tagged you is a recently discovered relative. Maybe you're happy about it, maybe you're sad because you'd no idea they even existed and those who raised you have been lying to you this whole time! Have fun with it.

Okay so my boy Spot here is a good 50-100 years wrong for either of Claire's time periods BUT what if he went through the stones and ended up in late 19th century New York and got stuck there, -insert events of newsies here- but either Claire finds him or he finds his way back?]

[She should never have let Willow talk her into this. Clearly the spell hadn't worked because it was supposed to help her find her real mother not send her back in time! If she ever got back she was going to have words!
She'd been trudging through the woods, toward a light she could see in the distance only the trip and fall down a hill still slick with rain, cursing like a sailor the entire way down, ending with a soft under the breath-] fuck me sideways...
[Faith pushed herself to her feet, flinging off the mud caking her now scaped up arms. Except as she started to get up, she became increasingly aware she was not alone. Looking up, she spotted the older woman only a few feet away who was dressed like someone straight out of Colonial Williamsburg... very much in contrast to her own jeans and now muddied tank top.] Uh... hello?
yells it works too well
Christ, are you all right?

[A couple of scratches is nothing in comparison to her usual injuries on any given night on patrol. And mud is far preferable to demon gore. She's eying the woman, sizing her up, and finding herself wondering. Could she be? No, it couldn't be. But...maybe? ]
Maybe a weird question, but where am I? [She refrained from asking when, since this question is likely crazy enough on it's own.]

A few days out from Wilmington. [North Carolina. But that's a given, isn't it?] This is Fraser's Ridge.
[She holds off from introducing herself.]
Did you get lost?
no subject
Wilmington, right. Of course. [She at least knows where that is. So that's something. Not much, but something. Fraser's Ridge isn't familiar to her at all though, which is probably obvious from her expression. She's not a very good actor.] Yeah, I guess I got kind of turned around in the dark.
[Clearing her throat to try and purge herself of her awkwardness, Faith holds out her hand to introduce herself since the woman hasn't yet.] Name's Faith.

Faith?
[Not an uncommon name, in these parts. Faith, Hope, Charity, Mercy. But she's not been faced with a Faith, thankfully. Until now. The name makes her frown, and she tries to move past it. But it's obvious that there's a reaction. Just as obviously as this woman is not from around here.
Shaking her hand feels like shaking the hand of someone in the 60s.]
Claire Fraser.
[Her own distracted introduction.]

So this is your ridge, then? Fancy. [She internally cringed. That's what she thought to say to her might be mother? Idiot.]
