The Dating Meme

Dating is, when you think about, really weird. It's a totally different thing for different people. Some are friends for years before they date; others start dating on the same day they met. Sometimes, there's a lot mushy stuff involved; other times, the couple acts just like friends. None of this is necessarily right or wrong.

Whatever it is, your character and the character you reply to are now dating. How? That's up to you. Whether it be awkward or not, the relationship will be uniquely theirs.

1. Best Friends to More: Oh, wow, you've been this person's friend forever! But then you realize you have feelings for them, and they for you. Will things change when you change your status?

2. The Sudden Decision: Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here I am, date me maybe?

3. Confession: You've had feelings for this person for, like, ages, and you want to ask them to date you. Or maybe the confession just slips out...
4. Hate Date: You really don't like this person; actually, you hate them. But you don't want them to be with anyone else!
5. I Guess We're Dating: Huh. We are dating, aren't we? Everyone else knew before us...
6. Slow Decision: For the more mature and seasoned, they might fall into something sweet without needing to rush.

18. Know What You Like: It's almost like they can read your mind, whether it be in the kitchen, at the store, or in the bedroom.
19. Trouble in Paradise: Maybe it's external factors, or perhaps internal, but whatever the case may be, things aren't looking so sunny.

20. Test the Strength: Someone else has an obvious crush on the person you're dating. What do you do?
21. Pregnancy Scare: Hey, it happens. So, how do you feel when the period turns up missing?
22. Getting Serious: Things are getting way deep with this person. They may be the one...or maybe they think they are, while you're not too sure.

[Thanks to their last encounter the two now have a date at Olive Garden. Edelgard arrives twenty minutes early, and while the only makeup she has on is a little mascara to cover the fact that her lashes are completely white and as such unnoticeable natural, great effort and detail went into the rest of her look.

She wears a red pencil skirt and a black button down blouse. The top is adorned with fluttering ruffles at the neck and chest while the skit has a slit on the side held together with large buttons to make a statement. A white belt cinches her waist matching the white handbag at her side. Edelgard's long, fair hair is pulled up in an ornate braid that almost looks like a flower. No one hair is out of place, her shirt is perfectly tucked, and her clothes fit her as if they've been to a tailor. Everything about Edelgard is meticulous - belying her obsession with perfection.

She even stands still as a statue — the only thing moving is her eyes as she searches the passing crowds for her date. Honestly the girl probably looks like she's ready to run a corporate merger meeting rather than sit down at a chain restaurant.]

[And arriving several minutes later is Jimmy, walking through the active hustle and bustle of the city sidewalk to meet up with his date. While he's later than Edelgard, he is by no means late; still at least a few minutes ahead of their scheduled time of 8pm. In terms of clothes, Jimmy is no slouch when it comes to dressing himself. He's not the flashiest of dressers per se but he's still as fashionable as you'd expect from a "hip" young man such as himself; donning a light jacket, an untucked white button-down shirt and black jeans with black sneakers. And of course his earrings- which Edelgard specifically mentioned her approval of- remain piercing both ears as always.

But despite putting a decent amount of effort into his own appearance, nothing could have prepared him for the sight awaiting him outside of the Olive Garden. He freezes with a start at the sight; eyes wide and mouth agape in shock.]

HOLY SHIT!! [-Was about all he could say, at the jaw-dropping woman awaiting his arrival. His eyes unabashedly take in her appearance, looking her up and down like he can't believe his eyes. Everything from the flattering fit of her dress, to her hair, to the pale violet earrings that match her eyes is observed and appreciated in the brief silence between them.]

Edy, you... Wow.

[Just wow. He continues to stare; completely awed.]

You really went all out, huh?

[Maybe he should've been more specific when she asked about the "dress code" of the restaurants?? But hey, if this is the result of his oversight, Jimmy isn't gonna complain!]
