MOVE IN TOGETHER meme

After months and months of dating, or at least love/lust from afar or admitted chemistry, you and your special someone are moving together. Maybe it's into your dream home, maybe it's one of your places, perhaps it's a hole in the wall and the only place either of you could manage. Still, it's yours, and that makes everything more than all right. You're on your way to domestic bliss - or will you both realize that living together can mean a few more disagreements and a few less rose-colored glasses than there were together? Cooking and cleaning and other chores for two are no easy job. And, of course, you have to be prepared for a greater level of intimacy, in whatever form that takes. How to Play Comment with your character, gender preference, and any preferences such as no smut, fluff only, yes smut, angst, etc. Reply to others. Feel free to play any scenario, any angle, any scene taking place from the moment of moving in onward. You don't even have to really play it straight - maybe your characters are having to live assumed lives and under new identities.

It took one long weekend visit for him to text her pictures of the drawers and closet space he'd cleared out with the words next time.

The next trip, when she brought some stuff, he'd graduated to having her favorite coffee in the pantry, several of her favorite movies on the DVD shelf, even changed the brand of paper towels he was using because she complained about the 'weak ass shit' he had in his kitchen.

After the third weekend she spent in LA with him, he'd finally asked. She finally agreed.

The plan was that she would go back home and pack up shop, then he'd come down to help her finish and bring her home to stay. It took about three weeks, but she packed her stuff, broke her lease, and finished her run at the bar after giving her two week's notice. He flew to New York, by a miracle ran into no delays, and after they put the last of her stuff in the car, they hit the road.

He watched with immense satisfaction as she frowned in confusion when he missed the turn for the airport.

"Can you do me a favor?" he asked, failing to contain a smile. "Up in the vi-visor. Tickets are there...wanna check our boarding time?"

And, when she looked at the tickets that were up in the visor...she'd realize they weren't plane tickets, but train tickets.

[ Sure, it does feel weird walking around a big city like Midgar in only her mountain guide gear. The stares she was getting certainly made her reconsider turning around for some thread-bare pants. Because this was literally all Tifa had to her name, all of her possessions having been... well. She didn't really have any, anymore, did she?

The hospital, at least, was nice enough to wash it for her while she was recovering. And other than a fair bit of money to get her by, her master Zangan didn't really leave much else other than a scrap of paper with an address on it. And him, at the very least, she could trust.

And so, with a little bit of direction from the nice nurse at the front desk, she'd been on her way, spending a good deal of the morning wandering through the sectors for her destination. And with a quiet knock (after checking the address for the tenth time, and waking the length of the block five more to gather up her courage) she hoped and prayed to Gaia that whoever was on the other side would be expecting her. ]
