[ It hurts. Everything, it feels like, hurts. But that doesn't stop Brianna from pushing herself up to her knees, gritting her teeth as her body protests the slightest movement. It's just a residual effect of using so much power, surely a few more moments and it will fade. That's what she tells herself at least.
Getting thrown against a stone wall and mildly electrocuted probably didn't help matters.
This wasn't an intended stop on the siblings' quest for power. Not even a detour or quick side trip. When a supposedly dead Emperor with a grudge against their family reappeared on the galactic stage it was more akin to getting ripped out of hyperspace and having to try and dodge a star threatening to go supernova. Loud, disruptive, and something that had to be dealt with no matter what.
But they'd killed him. That was the important thing. Whether the galaxy would know it as the Solo kids destroying Palpatine once and for all, or Kylo and Caedus killing him, didn't matter at the moment and would ultimately be decided later. Hopefully by the two of them, but first things first. ]
Jace? [ Coughing from the dust still settling, her throat sore as much from that as yelling more than a few times since they arrived on Exegol, Brianna swallows and raises her voice as she manages to raise her head to try and survey what was left after the fight. ] Jace? Talk to me...

[ Pretty much open to any version of this: the one dying, the one who’s with the dying character, they’re both dying, accidents, mishaps, fighting to the death, some plan gone terribly wrong, most other things. The more angst the better. ]
